The concept of talking about electronic money is really confusing if you have no knowledge of it. I think if you want to understand it, you can read the posts on this forum. Also you can learn it through the media. Join the telegram groups talking about electronic money and conduct conversations with them to better understand the concepts of electronic money. I engaged with young people and layman people in my communities on the quest of exposing them to cryptocurrency. During the period I discovered that they find It so difficult to understand the concepts, they are so much acquainted with fiat currency and traditional ways of making payment transactions.
I will be impress If I can get a valuable ways and methods in making them understand what cryptocurrency is all about and engage them actively.
The truth is that the technology behind the Crptocurrencies is so complex. But the cryptocurrency should not be appearing as conplicated since this would not attract more people to engage with it. It should be simple and easy to learn, people should be oriented that having the cryptocurrency will make more secure and better mean of transferring funds. People should be attracted to use it to use as a form of payment for their daily activity. A simple kind of wallet can make them understand the simplicity of the cryptocurrencies. Having wallet that is user friendly will attract people and made them understand the use of crypto. You might check some wallet like "HODLER wallet" it has Clear design and default configuration allowing you to easily send and receive cryptocurrencies

I tried explaining cryptocurrency to a couple of my colleagues in my community but they find it hard to understand. What I did was, I opened my accounts to them, showed them the value of the coins and how it can be used to purchase things. At that point, I was able to get them to understand after we continued our conversation on cryptocurrency.
It is always necessary to back your lessons with facts and evidence. People tend to understand concepts when they are backed with evidence and made more practical. Cryptocurrency and the Blockchain consist of fundamental concepts which is easily understood in order to increase its patronage and hit the mainstream.

at first it's very difficult especially if you're weak in math or currency intuition but it's quick to learn it, especially when you study it really well. Even though I was the only one I was struggling with, but when the money was being analyzed you were getting more and more people so you could do it.

I don't really think that you have to fully understand it I just think you have to know the basics and how to secure your own wallet.
To be honest people wouldn't understand something that they don't really want.

Tackling Climate Change Using Blockchain
To be frank with you, this is one topic after global warming that I haven't been able to get a grab on. So many terms associated to it, so many coins, so many different news headlines, too much to follow even half of it. So if someone claims that understanding cryptocurrency is pretty hard, then I vibe with the person too. I'm yet to see a site or forum that has simplified its definition well enough. Recently I even heard that Bitcoin/cryptocurrency are not virtual money, but all my life, I've always thought it to be virtual money, so this is really new to me. Dear, crypto, how are you and, who are you? lol

I've been in to this field for more than 6 years now, and I would admit that even now I am not familiar with some of the concepts. Those with a programming/coding background may be able to grasp them better, it seems.

Anything we are not familiar with and we're not used to be with is really difficult to understand at first. But we should always take time and be willing to learn what Crypto is all about. Reading news and articles and researchimg would be useful.

only people who don't have the ability who will never understand Bitcoin. Basically, Bitcoin is an easy thing to understand, therefore Bitcoin is the most common thing and I believe that everyone in the world can understand Bitcoin. Idle people and those who don't have the will, they will never be able to achieve the results they want.

Sometimes cryptocurrency for me is hard to understand. Because I have always asked why so many altcoins exist. Indeed cryptocurrency is difficult to understand and we must continue to learn a lot about cryptocurrency. Because I think the knowledge I got is still very little.

Crytocurrency may be complex, but a willing mind can easily understand the concepts of cryptocurrency. The problem is that most people find it difficult to adopt to change, they rather stick to the old ways of doing things, but if we can agree on something, that the world is gradually approaching a cashless digital state, soon, you won't need to preach too much as everyone will have no choice than to adopt cryptocurrency.

It is not the concept of cryptocurrency itself that is difficult to understand, it is just the back-end of the technology that is too complex, but it is not a necessity for everyone to understand that. All you need to tell them are the basic things about cryptocurrencies, like how they work, how to make a wallet or send/receive a transaction. I think even someone without much knowledge about internet or such technology can understand such simple things. If you make it confusing for them, then they will not understand for sure assuming they have never heard of it before.
It is very difficult but if you are willing to learn from it. You will do everything learn and give more interest in it. We all have the time to understand and learn more. do some research and ask some people that already in the bitcoin industry, what are the pers, prons, and cons from involving in the bitcoin industry. What are the risk factors that you need to conquer? If the is a will there is always a way. Make time to think and read some blogs and articles from the experts and you will learn from it. promise.

It would be hard to explain bitcoin by yourself if you don't have any means or something to show to them.. yes you can point them to you tube or any site that can help them understand it, but still its not a norm that people can easily believe and accept specially tothose who are used to computer or internet but in millenial people I guess they would learn it easily.

The difficulty of understanding Bitcoin comes from the lack of desire to rebuild your mind. People who are accustomed to thinking in the old way are sometimes negative about innovation. And we cannot be angry with them for it. They have the right not to accept what they do not like.
