I have just recently signed up at CoinedUp and will agree that it is terribly slow. But even with this frustration the thing that bugs me the most is the use of 3rd party charts, with embedded ads in them no less! I currently disable the display of these, but it does make trying to judge a coins movement by its recent history a bit more of a challenge. Please remove this "feature" until you can implement your own charts.

lol Bitches about ads on a free exchange. Any other exchange offering free trading?

1. Not yet, cryptsy has reasonable buy/sell offers for each coin it has adopted. Coinedup has reasonable buy offers, but not all coins have reasonable sell offers. AKA huge spreads.

2. Coinedup needs a design reworking. Cryptsy looks professional.

3. Coinedup is free and offers vary new coins.

At this point Coinedup is great for 2 reasons

1. New coins without support from other exchanges

2. No fee's which will change

Coined up can be considered a level 3 exchange. Cryptsy level 2 (moving into level 1 when USD markets open) and MtGox, BTCe, Coinbase etc level 1 exchanges. Anyways, the point here is comparing the two isn't realistic at this point.

No. Coinedup looks like crap to be honest. Someone else here said it too it makes it look unsecure. I would feel safer holding a few btc's in cryptsy then in coinedup
Coniedup and other similar exchanges will get better and better...

It is better to add too many coins than to little. In the worst case the coin will die and will be removed.

Thats sort of thinking is whats currently killing the alt community Sad

Altcoins - ALTcoinS - not MAINcoins. This is free market, some currences will die, some will grow, all should have a chance. 2 years ago BTC was nothing and at one point was given a chance by some people and look at it know. There might be some coins that can change someting and they might be destroyed by thinking similar to yours.

80% from the shitcoins should be removed from cryptsy and all other exchanges.

And coinedup is a bad joke. Pressing the buy/sell into the right corner is totally 3#&*#@#!)*^

From the small exchanges i start to like https://coinex.pw

I disagree. If you don't want to buy small currencies don't do it but let others. Alternative coins, as the name says they should be alternative not common and already pumped...

I don't care if you agree or not. Feel free to buy all the shitcoins and get happy.  Roll Eyes

Ofcourse not, cryptsy doesn't put all stupid coins on their market. Look at CAGE on coinedup, come guys, why is CAGE on coinedup? Nobody cares...
Agree, but they also don't add valuable coins. For me it is very hard to say what currency is worthy and which is not, if you had asked somebody 2 years ago about bitcoin he would have told you that this is a scam not worth to look at.

I'm pretty sure that exclusivity usually means quality. If Cryptsy added every new coin to pop out of coingen, I'm pretty sure that people who made coins would opt for an option where there's less competition.

That not entirly true. They add coins even if its only a few days old. What cryptsy is after is money. I almost wonder if you have to bribe in order to get listed there. I am not saying list ever coin, but there are some coins you wonder why they are not listed, or why they get listed in a day or 2 , ect ect.

I don't know if it is true, hope not. But it does not matter for users, what matters is that cryptsy is not adding coins :/

You interested in spamming fud.
Tell me why? Why should I be interested in 'spamming fud' as you call it? I explained why I made this post in orginal post:

Being honest, I want to add that I wrote this in hope that someone from cryptsy team would read this and finally understand that it is unfair to punish users for cryptsy's problems.

This thread was made to tell people what is happeining and if I am wrong I want to understand what I said is untrue - this can be only achieved by exchanging opinions.

I like the new coins hitting coinedup first. At least then I know my coins will end up there.
With cryptsy its a crap shoot if your damn coins will show up. I recall a few days ago I was mining netcoins, had a feeling a pump was gonna happen looking at the charts. Sure enough, mined it all night, woke up and had some coin to trasfer and trade while the coin was starting to tick up.
What happens? Coins never show up. It took over 24 hours before they got into my account at cryptsy. Needles to say I lost out on ~.06 extra profit due to my coins ending up in never never land.
This is just not the first time this has happen to me with coins, it seems like just all of a sudden random coins take a shit. It almost makes me wonder if they hold the coins on you and trade them while its going up and make a nice profit off them and then return them to you after they are done. I know this is not likely, but makes you wonder.

Before people say fud, I call bullshit. I am not the only one this happens to over there.

Cryptsy also needs comp. As everything in any kind of capitalist market, competition is good. It drives companies to make sure they are the best. With cryptsy it would to make sure the shit works right, hell, even answer support tickets or whatever would be a good start. Right now, they dont see any need to improve and stuff like that because they know what are you going to do? Where are you going to go? Its just like dealing with the cable companies... just poor customer service.

cryptsy doing the right thing. Why do you think BTCe don't add every shitclone.

Most of these new coins will die in a few weeks.

cryptsy would be wise to find a happy medium. It is a website, there is no harm in having EVERY coin that has a dev team, heck you could provide an API that let you list a new coin.

To solve the problem of confusion and distraction that BTCe addresses is pretty easy and awesome.

For the PRIMARY crypto coin markets Crypts should have a front page. To trade on the front page you have to meet a certain volume, else you are relegated to the back page. I would even prefer three tiers, add a cellar for brand new coins that will almost certainly disappear off the face of the earth.

I want to make a site that has these features, would be AWESOME. Any Dev want to build it for me Smiley
