Is it not that Doge is merge mined with LTC? Maybe all that volume came from the Chinese LTC mining farms selling all their Doge. But agree with that chart. There is a pattern there and another pump is indeed coming if the pattern stays the same.

doge is merge mined with LTC and i know this from ghash.io when i am mining ltc on there. and dogecoin is not dying, this coins is preparing for something surprise for their super fans  Grin and then their super fans can celebrate it. just wait and see and don't forget to make big stock of dogecoin in case there are any increasing rate in future.

What surprise? Will it be another sponsorship gimmick? It would be better if they copy Monero's dynamic blocksizes. If Dogecoin can have an advantage in scalability over other coins maybe it can make a comeback.

I haven't held Doge since the addition of the tail, where can one buy it with USD without BTC intermediary.

I can't believe you guys STILL after all this time try and defend this scammy shit coin.

hey Kidiots..

Guess what ?
The dev said he launched it as a joke originally.
So what does that mean ?
Well given the context of the situation way back on launch..
It was 1 of countless SCRYPT clones all with a different icon / picture and maybe some minor code tweaks

FOR PROFIT

It was launched as a joke.. so that means.. for PROFIT !

a clone coin

for profit.

launched as a joke.

for profit.

JOKE PROFIT

Profit... as a joke.

hahahhahahaha pump walk cash REAL MONEY bank account Bitcoin.. "JOKE"

get it yet ?
no ?
still ?

Why would you show your face defending that ?
You all have some balls posting defending this scam coin.

What is a scam coin ?
Would it be a pointless copy of Litecoin with a new icon and a lame meme tacked onto it it ?
For laughs and ............................. profit ?

I sure as fucking god damn hell would say so.
1 of 1,000's people.
Like Kitteh Coin !
Or..
Why are you all not defending them all then ?

Why ?
because you sick fuckheads CHOSE to dog-pile onto 1 coin to pump & dump.. and you did !
History proves this.

You idiots are gonna get PWNED hard buckle up !
I will dish up some savage brutal FUD that will bring you to your knee's !

Introduces "kids" to crypto ?
I said 2 years ago Doge was bringing in the wrong crowd to crypto already.
I said millions of times !
Spartak it brings in kids to Crypto ?
Uhhh wow man holy fuck that is a stupid fucked up pathetic comment trying to defend this scammy shit coin.

For one thing kids have no place in the scammy free market shit hole we call the altcoin scene.
You willingly trying to draw in children to this shit is retarded !
This is about cryptography and experimentation etc and RISK !
Scammers thieves and liars and shills and pumpers & dumpers all for profit.. with 1 billion stolen from exchanges..
With NO REGULATIONS IN A FREE MARKET.

Advocating kids come to crypto to invest their lunch money in Altcoins like Doge is appalling !

We don't need little kids to come here with lunch money to "PROFIT" from scam coins
We need mature coin "Supporters"

I love how no matter how hard you all try your colors show.
You are sleazy ass corrupt cancerous to crypto little profiteers and you can't hide it.
Pretend to be "supporters" all you want but when you show up here saying shit like this on this topic
you are busted caught red-handed.

ANYONE who supports this lame shit coin is a confirmed sleazy little piece of shit profiteer.
I CAEN HAZ BITCOINZ N0W ?

Spartak you only recently showed here spouting off..
So you you must not know i already dealt with your retort you posted here hundreds of times
..before you showed up.  Cheesy
Where were you when Doge launched ?
I was first in line BY MY SELF on it's ANN topic posting "FUD"
Saying it was a horrible embarrassment to Crypto and you all should be ashamed for supporting this garbage coin.
..as the rest of you dived on it like greedy little crypto-maggots for profit talking like morons with Doge speak.

The bar was lowered on that ANN topic !

Hmm i wonder why you fuckers are defending this crap ?
Spartak don't tell me you are behind "FailCoin" ?
Would that be a coin taken in a serious tone by chance ?
Is it suppose to replace Bitcoin ?
Hmmm i wonder why you would support a "joke" coin ?

Why would someone such as KDC support it ?
Hmm i don't suppose it's so they can pump & dump it and make BITCOIN PROFITS off of it ?

Zip it up idiots your agenda is showing Cheesy

Someone open a window and let some of the wrong out of here !

..jeezuz you people here are PATHETIC embarrassment.

much fail retorts.. such pathetic.. so kidiots  Grin

PS:
Fuck right off with the fake ass bullshit about Doge having a "community"
No one is buying that stupid crock of shit.
All it ever did have was a mob of profiteers swarm on it then dump & run.
That has NOTHING to do with a "community"  Roll Eyes

FURTHER MORE ...

The fucking dev said he bailed on the coin because the COMMUNITY FAILED TO SUPPORT THE COIN
So argue with that kidiot profiteer dregs.. i dare you !
I just fucking said that a couple comments earlier and Spartak shows up to sing the merits of the illustrious and glorious mighty "community" Doge has right AFTERWARDS Roll Eyes

..gimme a fucking god damn break people why do i have to be the ONLY voice of reason in the whole entire crypto scene ?

What is wrong with you all ?

its been watch last week expecting for a huge pumped but things did not happen and the price goes down again
if this pattern is correct might be better to buy some doge again and wait for this pump.

I do not think so, Dogecoin is very popular in gambling sites, even with this Dogecoin can go up in crypto world. Plus Dogecoin is also popular due to fast transaction times and small transaction fee. Bitcoin transactions are much slower, sometimes can be important to make transactions fast - in some minutes or so.  Wink

What value does it present to the crypto community? If you were an investor/adapter today, why would you use Doge specifically?

It is a good solid coin that is stable with a friendly community and that is a recipe that is conducive to introduce n00bs and kids into crypto so it has it's place in the scene and also in history and with it's merge mining it is very safe.

Maybe Dogecoin could copy Monero's dynamic block sizes so that it could scale better than other altcoins and get attraction from the cryptosphere again. I think it was smooth or smoothie who mentioned that because of dogecoin's inflationary nature or what he called a "tail emission", dogecoin is a good coin to implement dynamic block sizes. He also said that it is not advisable to use for bitcoin because of the 21 million coin maximum cap. But he did not give a reason why.

Can someone explain why a maximum coin cap is bad for dynamic block sizes?

The most important question wrt Doge is, how the hell do you pronounce it?

Dog - e?
Doj?
Doggy?
Neither of these. The stale meme page "Doge" on Facebook said a couple of years ago that the correct pronunciation is "Dohj".

i have not been hearing much about dogecoin all these days,it seems to me that it popularity is gradually going down,am i right ?
I will answer you It may drop a bit lower, the market will accumulate and will take it's way up again. Maybe in a pump and dump once the price is low enough for pumpers to buy. When it hits 25, it will be easy for organized pumpers to get it to 50, (100%) or 80 (400%), in fact we may hold at 35-36-37 and the pump will start from there. There is good buy support in this range which could be pumper activity.

I never liked DOGE and I was thinking that there is no use for it, but if you think about it a bit more, you'll realize that it can be one of the fun sides of crypto. Maybe some day petrol could be traded with Bitcoin (just an example), but it would never happen with the DOGE... not in a million years. But you can make a lot of money by making people laugh. Ask 9GAG, FailArmy and such if you don't believe me.

i think dogecoin is hibernate for a while before its jump into the sky, at least i remember when doge is above to 100 satoshi and i really missed that moment back. so i think the rate will stay for a while and just buy dogecoin for long investment. someday the rate will be up, i am sure for that.

Actually I think it's a one of the stable altcoins you can find in a market.
They are pretty stable in price and community involvement... I think we can't see again big value (like 200 satoshi) but will remain stable at this value (around 35-50 satoshi)
