Normally cryptocurrencies price should not be correlated to each other but most of the time, it just follows the bitcoin price, and I agree with you if BTC will drop under $6000, ethereum price will drop under $400 unfortunately.

There was a time when bitcoin and altcoin were considered reciprocal of each other. When one moves up there must be downfall for other. But now, they are totally independent in that regard. But you can’t consider them independent in every regard. Now, they are just lined up at back of bitcoin. Wherever bitcoin goes, they are following it. Up or down, they are making good moves now.

If talking the possibility, it is possible that ETH will hit $400 but that is depending on many factors. So far, the possibility is less since the overall trend of either ETH or BTC is uptrend. So I am not sure if ETH possibility to hit $400 is high, it is low possibility.

This is can be happen, because in the daily chart ETH look still down trend. But i prefer to use fundamental analysis to predict the price , according to fundamental analysis the price of ETH will reversal and going up because of good news that ETH is not a security that announces by SEC.

It's hard to tell.But probably yes it will hit $400 mark because of the problems that are arises today like issues on scams and hacking.This really affects the value of bitcoins and altcoins in the market exchange.Current price now is at $490 and no signs of an upward movement,its been down since few weeks ago.

I am waiting on the sidelines. we are obviously in a bear market even with tons of good news. why not wait it out? so you miss some gains at the start of a bullrun but man, being in the market right now seems crazy. My 2 cents.

Yes it is possible. It has tested the price of 450 to 500 recently and this was a preparation to push downwards if traders keep dumping. It seems bitcoins and Ether are not getting enough hold, so the reason for it depreciating.

Obviously, there won't be any better chance than for one to see it hit so as to buy more for the future. It might hit $400 and go lower but at those points, it is always the best to make use of the chance to stash up more for the future. I just wonder when ethereum was originally blow $400 levels, people got afraid to touch it for holding purposes but now when it is falling down from $1000 levels, finding below $400s are good to buy and hold. Traders sentiments are related to historic price levels and not exact due to how high or how low currently.

ETH is in a bear trend as well as other altcoins, so the possibility of seeing it go lower than it is right now is very much there and until we possible change into an uptrend, before we can even state the chances reducing, but for now, we just keep our fingers crossed.

We can’t say that the market value of any other crypto coin is dependent on the market value of bitcoin completely but there is some effect of the market value of the bitcoin on rest all other crypto coins and the reason behind it is that bitcoin is the backbone of this entire crypto market. ETH has a sting potential to grow but for now, things are not that much good and that holding of ETH is the best thing to deal with such kind of situation.

Well, the SEC just gave ETH the reprieve it was looking for and declared it was decentralised enough to avoid their scrutiny. That reduces potential doom rather radically. I wonder which of its little ICO children will be hammered with the securities tag.

I dont think so, ETH can not break the 400$ point. In my opinion, if the ETH price go down less than 400$, the ETH miners will shutdown the PC because the price is not enough to support ETH transaction. ETH has the balance between the miners and the real market.
