a few months ago etherdelta was still safe and I had used it to sell my coins, but I thought etherdelta was not a good exchanger because it had a low price and I never used it again

etherdelta very unfinished site, but this problem lies in the fact that there was a redirect to the fraudulent mirror site

it looks like etherdelta after being hacked by a lot of traders who come out of there and choose to leave the exchange place, so for safer you no longer have to make exchanges there you can use a place that is almost the same as the platform where the exchange is idex, security there is more guaranteed and the trading volume is also pretty good.

in my opinion all exchanges are at risk if you use an address contract, my advice is if you log in using an address contract, you should not hold your coin for too long in the exchange because it is very risky if the exchange is hacked

A few months ago there was an issue with Etherdelta and some people lost their ETH and tokens.

Has the issue been fixed, is it safe now?

Many are still using this exchanges, so i think its safe, but im not 100% sure, because we all know, all platforms have its disadvantages and advantages so better for you to take caution in every exchanges you wanna trade. Much better, you trade to other exchanges if you are hesitant in etherdelta, i know there was an issue before that a lot of users were hacked and lost their ETH, so learned from it. Trade only if you think you needed to trade.

If you mean keep your wallet linked to your ED web page, after linking it by typing in your private key, It should be safe as long as your computer isn't compromised (infected/hacked/stolen). In general, it is not safe to keep on any exchange long term. In this case, I would not store it on the linked wallet either. It costs very little in gas to transfer to a wallet that is never linked to any sites or exchanges, just to be extra safe.

i don't think so, it's not really safe to enter your private key on a website. There isn't really anything wrong with the page itself, it's just that the method of creating a wallet and how you use it opens up attack vectors. Etherdelta smart contract is very safe, but as people found out months ago, a DNS hack caused people to get redirected to a fake ED page where any private key they entered was then emptied of funds. You could also get phished by getting linked to a fake site from places like this (misspellings like etherdetla.com are common for this kind of scam) where again, they take your key. Most of those attacks can be prevented if you're really careful with your wallet, but still.

Better to use Metamask or a Ledger Nano S.

I don't use Etherdelta, it's just out of my league. Doesn't like it's interface, I would rather use some other exchanges . I trust Binance, Kucoin exchanges and Coinomi to store my tokens.

I don't use etherdelta because it doesn't work on all my devices. But it clone forkdelta works fine and I often trade there. Also I can recommend another decentralized exchange https://idex.market

I used etherdelta before and I didn't get ripped off.
But I won't be using it anymore because it's a very shitty interface and very slow.

yes that is all because etherdelta is one of the DEX that traders really like and there are lots of transactions there. so etherdelta experienced a market error. but now everything is fine and updated.

for now it seems etherdelta is not too safe anymore because in my opinion when it is hacked the exchange place will be left by traders because they prefer to avoid the risk. don't let you get a lot of losses from there.

safe ,, but you have to have a big eth. that means you need a large fee so that the transaction is smooth. 43 I set it up so that the transaction took place quickly.
please try and good luck

No, it is not safe. As for me the Forkdelta is better.
I loose my money in Etherdelta twice. And i dont give my private key to nobody. It's really dangerous thing.

Security of your assets partly rests on you. Etherdelta is built on a smart contract. And tokens can't be transffered to another Wallet.

It is also decentralized. So you have to keep you private keys or mnemonic codes safe.
Also be wary of redirects and pop ups, requesting you provide private information
