Is there any exchange super safe? I think not. History tell us that exchanges cannot be trust when you want to keep your funds into them. I only work with exchanges when I want to make some trades or when I want to buy or sell some coins but that's it.

yes, I think etherdelta is safe. etherdelta had fix their security system after the attack happened, many were thinking their balance would be gone, but it has been solved by etherdelta and now it can be used as it used to be.

no, I don't think so. because the last time it was being attacked, so I prefer waiting for other exchange than use it. but I think etherdelta will continue to develop their security system after the burglary problem happened.

i suggest you do not use your main wallet in Etherdelta, try to use other wallet for trading, send the token you want to trading only.

I was one of the people that unfortunately lost my ethers during the 2017 hack in Etherdelta, so since then I stopped trusting that exchange. And I think that's the general feeling of its users, who are apparently letting it die gradually.

We must also remember the great failure they had during the supposed ICO they offered some months ago, so it seems that this ugly exchange, which initially seemed the only resource to exchange the tokens before anywhere else, is condemned to disappear soon, even more with the great competition that has led to the emergence of more competitive decentralized exchanges such as IDEX, which seems to be the favorite today, displacing by much etherdelta of its previous dominance in the field of Erc20 token exchange.

I do not trust a trading platform when they ask for a private key. This is crazy when they promise not to save  my key  Cheesy

I said yes, but I now prefer to use Forkdelta? have you tried Forkdelta, the experience of using Forkdelta is lighter.

Thats right, but i heard that all of this coins have a security issues before, some members had been hacked and stolen their balances, i dont know for now, but still this exchanges have a volumes of transactions. So i think they got their trust now from the community.

not sure about Etherdelta, but Forkdelta is absolutely safe, to be honest I use it almost everyday and have never had any problems with it
They are just the same and come to think that Forkdelta is just a fork of ED itself so i dont really see the difference when it comes to security an a DEX.

no problem, I think the discussion is dead and finished.
just stop and thousands of the same answers are here. they only say the problem has been solved.
Get used to it and this thread would keeping on being bumped as long Op wont really locked this one.

If you're looking for a convenient DEX, please do try GammaDEX (https://gammadex.com/). We'd love to hear your feedback.

Our aim is to become the preferred front end for EtherDelta traders Wink

Of course not. ETD is the worst crypto exchange at the moment, i think. You can see that so many traders out there lost their tokens by trading or depositing on ETD. ETD is a target of all hackers all over the world cause it's the easiest exchange can be hacked so try to stay away from this exchange.

The exchange Etherdelta is completely safe, as it works on smart contracts without human intervention. I recommend that you don't enter your private key manually, but use the MetaMask extension for Google Chrome.

No, it's not really safe to enter your private key on a website or use one generated by a website. There isn't really anything wrong with the wallet itself, it's just that the method of creating a wallet and how you use it opens up attack vectors. Etherdelta smart contract is safe, but as people found out last month, a DNS hack caused people to get redirected to a fake ED page where any private key they entered was then emptied of funds. You could also get phished by getting linked to a fake site from places like reddit (misspellings like etherdetla.com
