Everybody keeps on saying scam scam scam for all of these ICO's. 90% of them are crap, yes. BUT there is the 10% of them, like vector, who are absolutely not scams. They are good projects that will really help the crypto community grow and its not fair to call an ICO a scam until you have actually researched it and you are sure it is a scam.

Just my two satoshis...
You know what, most people believe that it is a scam but you cant blame them. Maybe they had past experiences of scamming. But one thing is for sure, almost 90% are scam but not all. There is still 10% left that are decent and not scam. Just research your way to the best ones. Ask someone who is an expert and reliable enough so that you won't be scammed. So ico is not a scam. Just make wise decisions when it comes in trusting other companies

90% of ICOs today are scam you just have to be careful while investing.

that's right, don't panic buy on some good advertising

there's so much projetcs, most of them will die in a couple of years

and you can't be sure at 100% even if it seems promising on the paper, i rather stay away almost all the time

on the other hand, huge profits are done every single day, as usual some guys are smarters than others

Some ICO's fail to open their project eventually, some ICO's are scam but we also need to know who those legit are, and by researching them, we will know that there are still a lot ICO's not are not a scam.

I would actually say that it's a minority of ICOs that are scams, many that are just unprofessional and not thought out get labelled as scams when in fact they are not. Take ATS, they hugely messed up their bounty campaign and got labelled as a scam but in fact they are not in my opinion, they just really aren't very professional.

No, not every ico project is a scam but there are some that have no intentions of delivering what they stated in the whitepaper.  Before investing in any ico, it would be a good idea to research it thoroughly.  Make sure the team is really who they say they are.  Be prepared to wait months or even up to years before you see great profits.

That is definitely not the case. A lot of ico’s are scams but you should do your own research about each project individually and decide yourself which ones can be trusted and which ones can’t be

I believe that not every ICO projects that generate alternate coins (altcoins) are scam because there are still manage ICO projects who are still coming to success bringing benefits to its users. It just so happen that those ICO projects whom you coined as scams do not meet up their target cap that is why they cannot generate the promised allotment of payment stated in their whitepaper. But it does not imply that every ICO projects are scam. It is just timely that those ICO's fail to meet their caps.

You have hit the nail on it head! Not every ICO is a scam otherwise we can't have altcoin in the market. However, there is hardly any original iterm in the marketplace without imitation even so there can be many ICOs out there and also with these unserious or fake ICOs.

I don't think that every ICO is a scam because if that is true then all of the altcoins are are scam too because they are mostly came from the ICO or initial coin offering, i think you just need to choose the good ICO project in the market to have a good investment and don't judge all the ICO and do your own research first.

Not all, ICO need to show how good they are to survive on the real market and that's natural. For us as trader/ investor we only need to follow the right ICO and that's not easy. Need hard work and time to learn how ICO works. That why experience is valuable knowledge to get and we can get it by practice. Besides that, no one know which one survive even they're expert, sometimes the get loss. Just keep practice and have a nice day.

No, not every ICO is a scam, there is some successful and promising ICOs , but you need to study well the whitepaper and check their team, and their roadmap and see if it is going to be stable or not. Because there is so many scam ICOs.

No not all ICO are scam ,but most of the ICO now are shits ,at first their goal is to good to all, but when the project is finish , their comes the problem. Most devs run all the money and won't pay their bounty participants in the end.

I think most ICO projects shown on this forum are reliable since I can see these projects are still working, but we should be careful not to join in some projects without too much focus.

Too many scam ico's out there so you got to have to do your due diligence. Some ico's are legit though but they mismanage the campaign or rarely, their contract address gets hacked so people would automatically perceive it to be a scam; make sure to stay away from this too.
