Its true. Luckily im not a true gambler, that just focus on gambling 24 hour, facing the PC or casino table. Gambling is just for fun, pure entertainment and nothing else. Don't fear it or put it on a pedestal, that's what gives it power. Just have some fun and bet what you can afford to lose, think of that money as already gone and you'll be surprised if you win. Do it again if you feel good, but remember that money's already gone. If you manage to cash out with profits then you can buy something nice for your girlfriend. If not, then you were definitely entertained during the time.

Hard to believe that. Gambling might cause problems to appear faster than alcoholism, but in long run I would say alcoholism is way more bad than gambling addiction. Lets not talk about those who have lost everything and done suicide after that.

Gambling did nothing in my life I only betted some and I either won that amount I lost back I never bet over 0.001 and if I did and lost I would double bet till I won back since I have a big bankroll.
