Whats the point to gamble then if you are not hoping to win? People gamble to win, if you keep gambling a small amount to lose then I suggest you dont gamble anymore because all the small amount collected from you gamble lost will be a huge amount in the end.

Small amount just absolutely waste your time, better you help your parent works.

there are many people that gambling fixed their lives , the gambling site will never lose but that doesn't mean that all players playing in the site will lose
even in -EV games , there are some people know when to stop
and you talked about sports betting , sportsbetting is considered as a gambling game which a little amount of people can beat it
so you can actually fix your life if you can beat the sports , and there is poker as well
my point is that there are many people can make a good money by gambling , and you can see many people that make a living by gambling and this is a fact and you can see a lot of them ( actually there are some of them here in the forum )

It's okay if people got many winning from gambling, and fyi actually I made more winning than losing in sportbet and poker

No I dont think it that way. Im just saying if you keep risking small amount and lose , someday that small amount will be a big amount. Lets say you risk $1 every day, in one year that will be $365. Assuming you only lose half because sometimes you might win the game then tou will lose around $180 every year thats a huge amount I say

An easy fix for your troubles if you have a moderate gambling addiction is to set aside a monthly allowance for bets. This can be like say a cinema ticket every week in bitcoins that you gamble away or like a friday night out in coins if you decide to stay at home and feel bored. Honestly, I don't know anyone who became rich just by gambling. No one was lucky enough I guess. I know, however many people who lost their money on gambling.
I don't gamble with big money, I am not a type of high roller so I did not lose much. And the most important thing is to know when to stop if you won. Don't try to hit the jackpot every time.

I'm gonna go ahead and say that gambling will never fix your life. Just won't happen. If you have the right personality for it, and you have proper financial management, it won't "wreck" your life. But the rule is: Never gamble what you can't afford to lose.

don't say never. it is possible that gambling can fix someone's life. i am not saying that this is a common thing or happens everyday. but it might.
for example you can win a lot of money in gambling or in lottery and that can change your life.
but ofcourse usually people get wrecked because of gambling addiction and they keep losing more and more money until they are broke.

i only gambling for fun because it's so depends on our luck, we don't know will win or lose.
it's good when we win but when we got loss we must ready for let it go.
so i think gambling with responsibility about our finance is a better way.

I think most gamblers just do it for fun not to actually make money. Some people go to bars, some go to clubs, some go to the movies, all those places provide entertainment and cost money. Gambling at a casino is no different.

It's a sad thing to read you broke yourself and ruined your life because of gambling. Such outcome could have been easily avoided by you gambling only an amount you could have afforded to lose and stopping after hitting it or after having won enough BTC or fiat money. Not necessarily true. A lot of people are gambling to win without having any edge, which ofren leads into a disaster. Like all these delusional "dice solvers" who think that they've solved dice, or atleast "have a good strategy" and expect a win, when in reality they are just bleeding money away.

Gambling without hoping to win, like betting a few bucks just to make a sport match much more interesting is a way healthier approach for most people.

At first I had great expectations of quick wins and riches and after getting constantly butthurt when all endeavours in sportsbetting failed I decided to slow down and bet for fun on higher odds and if it hits great and if not just scratch that and try it again next time.

Just don't have unrealistic expectations and as people have said it already the most important thing is to have fun while doing it and if you win something in the process it's a bonus Cool

I think having unrealistic expectations is the biggest factor that gets people addicted to gambling; people slowly tend to start downplaying losses and emphasizing the wins they get, and continue expecting the win forever.
