I found out article last day that ozone layer gradually healed. Time by time, there is a progress of regeneration of ozone due to the banned of using plastics and becoming aware of the people to the pollutants of the air. Definitely, our ozone will recover in the near future and I think global warming will ease someday!

The depletion of the ozone layer has nothing to do with global warming. Also, it is not connected to the burning of plastic. The major reason behind the ozone layer depletion is the emission of Chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs). And the rate has slowed down after the CFCs were banned as per the Montreal Protocol in 1987.

Its real it is really happening.earth temperature climate system is changing.the summer is getting hotter, and un defind rainng..,we are suffering a natural climate cycle.

Just ask the people in Northern USA and Canada who have been freezing to death in this cold winter.

Cool

Ya man its cold as fuck up here this winter. Strange thing tho.. every 4 weeks we get a few days of warm weather. Last time it got to +9 Jan 27 and were in for another warm spell next week.

I'm sure the spraying program will be out in full swing during that warm week. You know, to help us get back to sub zero temps.  Wink

I think yes,we can see every day these changes,in Europe the temperature may be over 50 Celsius, that is a scary informatio.Ice on Artik melts, some animal and plant species dissapear, all of this things can indicate global warming.

Here in my country, which is in Philippines, the sea level rises rapidly this past years, and it's very alarming. Many houses from the nearby shore seek higher place to live nowadays.

It is not just the absolute rise in the sea-level which is putting lives at risk. In India, many of the coastal regions are witnessing an infusion of salt-water in to the aquifers. Researchers are saying that it is due to a combination of the rising sea-levels and due to the over-exploitation of the ground water. Tens of thousands of sq.km of land have been damaged as a result of this.

Absolutely, global warming is happening now. Like in the Philippines, usually the rainy season shiuld start by May and ends in September or October. However, over the past years, it had chaged from May, the rainy season started in End of june or Mid July.

I would say that the climate is getting more extreme. The summers are getting hotter and the winters are getting cooler. And the same is applicable with rainfall as well. Regions which used to receive good rainfall are suffering from floods, while arid regions are suffering from record droughts.

Just like Bitcoin. Went up to almost $20,000 USD, now back down to under $8,000 at times. Next, will go up to $150,000 in coming months. Then who knows where?

Obviously something is happening, nobody can deny it and everybody can notice it, just remember what weather you had some years ago 10+, and compare it with the current one... Anyway instead of care about what's happening to our planet now, we should care ALWAYS about his health, but what about if we are just suffering a natural climate cycle?, don't forget that this is very possible...

It's clearly not a debate Global warming is already occuring.

And sadly it's not only about temperature here .

We are also in a the 6th planet earth's gobal extiction phase.

It's called Anthropocene : we're 100 time above the normal rate of extiction of species, 50% of today's existing species simply wont exist in 2050.

Better make good money with crypto and be ready for what's ahead  Cheesy.

n recent years, global warming has been the subject of much political controversy. As science progresses, this debate shifts from the question of 'whether human beings cause global warming?' to 'how best to solve it?'.

Signs of global warming are recorded worldwide. The easiest way to know the increase in temperature is through the thermometer records that were stored over the last century and a half. Around the world, the Earth's average temperature has increased by more than 1 degree Fahrenheit (0.8 degrees Celsius) over the last sebad, and about twice in the Arctic region.

You forgot about the fake global warming news.    Cool

Look at the big picture. This has happened over and over in the past, if you want to believe the ancient ice ages were real. Nobody likes to die. But few people live beyond 100. Changes are simply happening. In this case, enough of the polar ice has melted before the cold weather set in, so that we will have to change our lives a little.

Global cooling is coming. The sun is showing it.

Cool

The cooling during the ice-age was very gradual, and it occurred during a time-period stretching many tens of thousands of years. On the other hand, most of the global warming has occurred during the past three decades.

Gradual, huh? Go get a chunk of beef. Set it out on a table outside in autumn of the year in the cold lands. Then see if it stays nice and fresh for 1 or 2 months as winter sets in. If yours does, you must have mixed a lot of preservatives into it.

In Siberia, they are still finding mammoths frozen in the ice. They were frozen so fast that the meat is still good enough to cook and eat today... after thousands of years.

There might be some slow ice ages. But there are fast ones as well.

Global warming is an indisputable fact. Man should discover the importance of protecting the environment.

Human race can't survive in the long term by destroying the planet. Those who cut down the forest and sanctioning coal power plants are basically triggering their own self-extermination. Perhaps they are thinking that they don't have to bother about it, as the upcoming generations would be the ones who are going to suffer.

Optimist.

The effects are already being felt, and will be pretty friggin' bad within the next 20 years.  The bleaching of the Great Barrier Reef is being caused by low alkalinity seawater (caused by Antarctic ice - which has an alkalinity of about 19, compared to sea water's 350).

yes...!!!Global warming is a term used for the observed century-scale rise in the average temperature of the Earth's climate system and its related effects. Scientists are more than 95% certain that nearly all of global warming is caused by increasing concentrations of greenhouse gases (GHGs) and other human-caused emissions

But scientists are finally finding out that GW is caused by the lies of the media that suggest that it exists. They are finding it out as explained by the many articles I have posted that show that global cooling is the present reality.

The bad news is "yes."

The good news is, it's looking like the "slow model" is correct, which means desalinization of ocean currents results in an ice age, and humans have proven multiple times that we can survive an ice age (Civilization can't, which means we'll lose our history and do all of this crap again in 4000 years or so).  As opposed to the "fast model", in which the ocean pH plunges and everyone dies at once.

Longer winters are coming in reality and will partially blunt global warming for 50 years

Comparison to similar stars indicates the reduced activity will cause 0.25% less UV for 50 years.

Modeling indicates that this will cause a few tenths of a degree of cooling.

This will counteract global warming for 50 years.

The Sun might emit less radiation by mid-century, giving planet Earth a chance to warm a bit more slowly but not halt the trend of human-induced climate change.

The cooldown would be the result of what scientists call a grand minimum, a periodic event during which the Sun's magnetism diminishes, sunspots form infrequently, and less ultraviolet radiation makes it to the surface of the planet. Scientists believe that the event is triggered at irregular intervals by random fluctuations related to the Sun's magnetic field.

Scientists have used reconstructions based on geological and historical data to attribute a cold period in Europe in the mid-17th Century to such an event, named the "Maunder Minimum." Temperatures were low enough to freeze the Thames River on a regular basis and freeze the Baltic Sea to such an extent that a Swedish army was able to invade Denmark in 1658 on foot by marching across the sea ice.
