I don't know if he/she even has a gender, but i'd love to see people reaction to a Goddess

Among the replies that I have read, this is the best one so far for me, and I agree to this. There are many Gods in many different religions. Some believes that God is a woman, some believes that God is a man, and some believes that the gender of God does not matter.

Since the majority of the people here in the world are Christians, I'm going to state my reason why I think the Christian God is a man. First of, the Bible, which is the sacred scripture of God, clearly stats and implies that God is a man, first of all, it was stated there that God is the "Father".

However, according to my research and study to answer this beautiful question; in answering the question, "Is God male or female," it is important to note that God did not appear in physical form anywhere in the Bible. 1 John 4:12 say, "No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us." In Exodus 33:20 God says, "You cannot see my face, for no one may see me and live."  God is a concept that we understand as being a Spirit and as such is an entity completely devoid of form and shape. Therefore, we must have spiritual eyes to "see" God, yet we as human beings have difficulty attempting to fit an infinite concept into our finite minds. So the term "Him" is frequently used when speaking about or referring to God.

You must be one of those who follow the religion and do not wonder where God came from? Who created God? Where is God? Why does God hide Himself?

You just believe in something that someone never saw.

Lol. I was barely able to breathe, laughing really hard while reading this. Then I checked the verse of the bible you quoted only to actually discover for the first time that Ezekiel really described God's Loins as being made of fire. I do not really want to start imagining. God is supernatural though, so we can keep assuming and guessing without knowing truly.

God is not a man and not a woman. It is not at all. As for rulers that do more in the world of the rulers of men, but the most successful rulers were women. I am against gender inequality. If a person believes that he is smart just because he is male then he is a fool.

The real question would be, why do people still believe in nonsense in 2017. Is it a failure in the education system or is just indoctrination. I believe the education system does play a role and we should teach kids to think by themselves and have some critical thinking instead of just believing things based on faith.

Ok, let us use our imagination here. Is God male or female... God is almighty, therefor he can be whatever he wants to be. And i think that God prefer to be a Male. As an ruler and almighty being i guess it is easier to do everything like a male, because male represent strength and power. In history there were more male rulers than female, and from history we learn that it is more useful to be male than female.

I agree with you that God is spiritual being and lives in different reality.
In the Genesis, in the Bible, it said that God created first human beings, man and woman, according to his image.
We can also see that God crated everything in pairs, male and female.
Animals, plants, even there is positivity and negativity in the atoms.
So, if everything is created according to the image of God, it's obvious that God also have male and female characteristics inside him.
It's harmonized inside God, of course.

God is a spiritual being and he can not be a man or a woman. He lives in another dimension where there is no discrimination between the sexes. Everything is written in religious books - this is nonsense, because it was written by people, not by God.

Nobody has seen god but we have hear all the ancient stories. God can be male or female but it shouldn't bother us, he can be in any form. We should be happy that he is their for our help.

In my opinion and belief, God has no sex organ.  He does not need to become male or female to be able to reproduce.  He is a creator Himself.  He just created man and woman for companionship and love of one another.  Unlike God, man himself cannot create life so they need sex organs to be able to reproduce.

God is a spiritual being and he can not be a man or a woman. This divine being is not like ordinary mortals. Some people believe that the god is male, because it is so beneficial to the patriarchate, but this is not true.

Your beliefs are probably based on the fact that in the world today adopted the Patriarchy, but when was the matriarch of your beliefs would be that God is a woman. It seems to me that the first woman actually made from Adam's rib. Religion is fake and no God at all.

In my personal opinion , God is male as gender , the bible says that the women was born from men's coast

But also it doesnt matters what god gender is , the important thing is to trust him and to pray to him
Is very important to have a religious and respectful life about god
Many people who were in clinical death , says in their interview that they met with the son of the god jesus and they trust him

I don't think that gender really matters if you believe in God and whether its male or female it won't make any difference to devotees as they have strong belief in God and will continue to pray no matter what  the gender is.

God don't have a gender. If there is why does it matter?

God doesn't have shape or face, let alone gender. I think best way to describe God would be force but it's not comprehensible by those who are not it. God is everything yet everything is not God.

for me no discussion about the gender of god... god is very powerfull, all in this world he makes...
even you and im came from the god. the people have  an obligation to god. as a son of god you need to serve and obey all the command from god. 
respect the god don't question about the gender.. all you to do follow and obey the command of god.

I think God is genderless. Also in my own opinion, God isn't human and no form at all.
