I have seen several ICO are switching into IEO probably IEO is good and most profitable rather that ICO, the most profitable IEO i think those exchanges with good volume many of our investors are trusted on that exchange with high volume.
Truly speaking, from my point of view, it depends on project and it's development and community. I have seen both the scenarios.
However, the recent situation is that, price is not that much drop like few ICOs before. This may be due to current upward market trend at the moment.

The IEO makes a guarantee that the project will be traded on a certain trading platform that the project has registered with the IEO. I realize that houbi and binance are the most successful IEO exchanges and bring good returns to investors.
As far as admission to exchanges is concerned, IEOs are of course much better than ICOs. In this regard, it could be more profitable. There are so many coins offered in ICOs that ended up admitted on low-volume and unheard of exchanges. ICO investors will have a hard time selling their coins. With IEOs, investors are already assured of an exchange.
However, it is never a guarantee that there is profit. At the end of the day, it is the product of the project that seals the fate of the coin. Massive dumping is unstoppable if it looks like the project is never a good one.

Being an IEO, STO or ICO does not guarantee the success of a project. The success of a project depends on several factors which work hand-in-hand to yield that positive result. Expert team, good product, strategic marketing ideas, supportive community etc are some of the factors that must be consider to ascertain the success of a project. IEOs are trending because it appears more convenient since the purchases or transactions are made easier and faster on the exchanges as compared to the ICOs.

IEOs are not always make some profit. It sometimes give you some loss. But at least IEO will guarantee an exchange after their sale, not for ICO. Some ICO didn't have an exchanger even their sale have ended a year ago. Then, after their listing in some exchanger, the price will go down quickly. If you want to join IEO, choose from big or good exchanger.

Honestly I haven't come across any IEO project that has really made huge gains. What you can see is the price of the token maintained at the IEO price or closeto it. We know that IEO's are safer to invest in but they are not yet very profitable like the ICO's as been.
Look, according to my experience each IEO has more chances to make you rich compared to ICO. I believe ICO will never be on demand again and IEo has totally replaced it
