As you know IEO trend is growing but i feel IEO is profitable only for those who invested in token sale but who have purchased altcoin after launched they suffer loss majority of the investors ,as the BTT and some other altcoin examples of IEO.
I think the IEO and ICO are almost the same. However, IEOs are censored projects and they are listed on the exchange so the IEO is much more profitable than the ICO. And I will trust to invest in IEO because currently there are very few IEO scam so you can trust to invest in them.

I believe that you can only participate in those IEOs that are held on Binance and you need to sell purchased coins immediately after the start of trading on the exchange on a dump. All other options are very risky and bring only losses. It all depends on the project. If the project is strong and has prospects, then it is better for him to conduct his own ICO, so all the money earned will go into his pocket. If the project is weak, then it is better for him to conduct IEO on the stock exchange and give part of the money earned to it. That is the difference.

There are some projects that commenced private sale (before a planned ico) in 2018 and collected money from top investors back then. In 2019, these same projects decided to jump in on the ieo trend. When they did, the price of the ieo was way below the price at which private investors purchased the tokens the year before. Those private investors were ripped off and had to bear losses. So in this case I do not believe that ieo is more profitable than icos

At this moment yes.icos were balso very popular and profitable at late 2017 or even in early 2018. Then for many reason s ICOs started to fall and took the ground. Cause in that space there was too much scams and failed projects were working. Then suddenly in eraly 2019 the whole IEOs came. And it came with some great names like binance or kucoin or okex. So it's more trusted now. So people are again interested in investment which bcreat a great demands of new IEOs and that's why it generates huge amount of profits.
