It is sin for me, but not for you. According to everyone, the situation is different. For a person who is generally religious, gambling is a sin, for example I can say sin according to my desire.

For example, there are some religious days in our country and it is a great sin to play gambling these days. He also encourages a bigger sin if he plays in regular casinos.

Were in the same page mate, I also do believed that gambling is a sin too. it maybe true that the gambling is not in the Bible but there is also no gambling place in heaven only here on earth we had it. But I respect the opinion of others here if gambling for them was not a sin.

If you believe gambling is a sin, why are you promoting bitvest.io?    Just asking it seems like a conflict.    That is a good point though is it a sin to make money off of gambling?   (Investing in the house.)

The problem with all of these things is where do you draw the line.

Good point caught. First if you know about halal and haram, dont use that coins in your financial needs. Do everything like others do

Well, not all people have the same religion as him, so to others it might not be a sin.
He only thinks his rules apply only to him Smiley

But its been saying most of the time that gamblers become an addict because of greediness, which is true I think.
So it has to be truth because it's said most of times, right?

It maybe God didn't mention any world of gamble but it was mentioned in the Bible that loving of Money is the fruit of all evil.
Than burn your money and live from air.

Meaning, once you enter in gambling world you are giving yourself to become greed in a long run. Smiley
If you see car door open and keys inside you can steal car. It doesn't mean having car is sin but it can lead to sin.

Not a sin for someone with - 8 negative trusts from the DT. I mean what could be worst than scamming people or promoting it? As far as gambling is concerned, no God ever said don't gamble. Neither Bible mentions it. That should be convincing.

Well, I was taught from childhood, that the gambling game is a sin, so I believe it is a sin. But, all depends again on each other's stance, because the purpose of each person in playing gambling is different. Maybe that purpose makes gambling play not a sin.

Is gambling OK? Don't bet it! There's not an easy or instantly obvious proof text answer to that question.
I do not think it is a sin, but some religious authorities may think since there is no way to win in the long term that such a proposition is simply not good for people and when we add to that that people can get addicted to gambling then is no wonder why the church may not like gambling.

There are several churches in my area that have a Bingo night....some have a casino night too.  I've also seen church raffles.....etc.  The Judea Christian Bible mentions the Israelites "casting lots."  So, I don't know if gambling is a "sin" but I do know that there are quite a few churches that have no problem participating in the activity.

Exactly! I have seen few Temples around Louisiana having these worshipers playing card games with money on the table during some festive season.I doubt its a sin then. Its all in our heads at the end of the day.
win true all that relates to the game wearing any form of money bets every game that gambling is a sin is very much less with until we have forgotten the time so that it will be detrimental to our lives, but for me it's just a fun game only.

Not even sure where they got this idea it was a sin. How was this a sin? People aren't committing any kind of sin the 10 commandments stated. I don't see there "do not gamble." People just make up the crazies sayings in their lives just to explain something or prevent people from doing something.

It is a sin if the religion does not encourage you to gamble. It is like going against the act of god and so you will be deem as a sin if you gamble. However, if it is not about religion, it is not consider a sin, but more about whether you know how to control yourself so you dont hurt others by your accessive addiction.
it is very easy to gambling in my country since the religion does not force people not to involve in this kind of activity. However, there are still laws and restrictions and the cops can catch you if you are found gambling with a huge amount of money. Try to stay away from them.
Religious people say that gambling is very sinful, they must have told never to do that and I do not understand why only big money can put you in jail for gambling cases, I think big or small money does not affect anything, the law must act for all those who do illegal gambling.

Yes it is. The reason why we want to gamble is to have more money. That' where the greed exist and greed is one of the seven sins. I'm sure every players have felt that way.

Is gambling OK? Don't bet it! There's not an easy or instantly obvious proof text answer to that question.

Maybe in religious belief gambling was a sin, but gambling didn't mention in the Bible. However, the love of money is the root of all evil which is mentioned in the bible. Where in my part of it I am 100% agreed and believed in the Bible.

People does not only gamble to win money or feed their greed.  This depends on the purpose why people is going to Casino.  If a person purpose is to have entertainment and enjoy himself then where is the sin on that.  If you are using your own money from legit earnings, why would anyone consider it as a sin?

But the thing about gambling in sites or casinos is that many gamblers assumed that you earn there, but no one does, what are they gaining or earning is loses, not profits. It must be really an entertainment,  noone needs to seriously take gambling as a way to gain profit.
As quoted it needs to considered as an entertainment and spend same as that you spend on your holiday for some entertainment activities. If you're lucky to get some profit feel good about it, but on excitement don't go for a big betting on a sudden hoping big win. Because the luck could turn opposite anytime.

We may not know those purpose of most of the gamblers why they are visiting casino's. There are some that wants to have fun, there are some that wants to make some good money, there are some that it is their source of income. But whatever their reasons, as long as they are not making themselves degrade and commit crimes, it's not a sin I guess.

I don’t think anyone who gambles cares about sin or not. I mean if you are religious enough to wonder if it is a sin or not than you will probably not gamble anyway, not risk anything. If you are however gambling than you probably don’t care if it is a sin or not. Its not a deal about if its sin or not, it will ruin your entertainment if you consider it.

But if for example you have a religion and your religion forbids gambling / fixing gambling as a sin, then you still sin when gambling, no matter how religious you are. Sin will not turn into prayer just by ignoring it. If you know that gambling is a sin and you keep doing it, then you still sin.
