In my opinion, this is a very high goal to achieve this year. Like most people (at least in my opinion) think, I think the price of BTC will reach $15K to $18K by the end of the year. But that's my opinion and we only have to wait and see.

many crypto expert are also predicted that bitcoin will go beyond $20000, maybe it will hit $30,000 to $40,000. you can read some article regarding the prediction of possible price of bitcoin this year.

I was expecting $3000 this year based on the performance of last few years. But the performance this year had been very disappointing. Still $20000 is achievable, if we have a bull run like last year, we may achieve higher also.

One thing that can help to this is limiting the number of alt coins. It has already started to happen with exchanges delisiting some coins.

Anything is possible really and nobody knows.
I'm betting that it will rise above 20k by a lot sometime in the future and so will altcoins.

20K? We can all just speculate. So will I try. At the beginning of the year, many FUDs and crypts were down. Very down. This year, people are disappointed and cautious, so I'm afraid we will not get our ATH. Not this year. But I'll give it a year or two and we'll see new highs. Everyone will say " NO ", like or not that is reality. We can see every day the price fall slowly but sure and most people I know already leave crypto market. Prepare for the worst and fighting out side crypto world to make new way make money is also realistic and good decisions.

I think that bitcoin will exceed 20k $, but it will definitely not this year. If its price by December 2018 is 13-14k $ it will be excellent

We couldn't make sure that it would gonna hit a value or price of $20,000 but it has also the possibility to make it happen though it may takes time to happen. We should practice to ourself to accept the fact that the value of the tokens in the crypto market is not consistent and may vary according to it's demand.

Bitcoin, of course, will grow up to 20,000 dollars, and up to 50,000 dollars, and will grow even higher. But there is also a small probability, and the fall of bitcoin.

I do hope so. I don't wanna be negative all through out. That is why I do certainly think, and wanna think that it will definitely go back to 20,000 USD and might surpass its phenomenal record. Can't help, but this is just a part and I guess it is that normal that cryptocurrency really fluctuates all the time around. Let us all be positive. Don't think negative my fellow crypto user, things right now are just normal, just keep on doing and it will be fine.

I also think that until the end of the year bitcoin will be 10-15k dollars. There will be no big growth this year, but in 2019-2020 bitcoin will be expensive

Bitcoin will have a new ATH anytime in the future but this will not might happen this year (2018)
BTC had a big fall and will not have an easy up in the next months.
The demand to get the new ATH will not be easy, ETF is one of the dishes we should have but rejected. we will wait again.

The chances of Bitcoin getting above $20,000 are still very much possible. Let us just keep monitoring the situation.
