I believe btc may not able to reach the $20k goal for this year and I think it is too much for now. I think the ideal goal could be at $10k USD for this end of 3rd quarter. Since the current market is starting to move in uptrend movement, there will be more people that will be encourage to invest in btc.
I am not sure that we are going to pass $20k again this year because I think it's very difficult to increase higher. but we have a chance to pass that number if many investors come to bitcoin again and they buy a lot of bitcoin. maybe the price will increase at above $8000 and then in the next year, the price slowly will increase and break $10k and so on. bitcoin still unpredictable and we don't know when the price can increase higher like in the last year so we need to buy more bitcoin to be prepared for the higher price.
To my own view, Bitcoin is a very valuable coin. It is not only good now or in the future. But if its gonna rise up to 20k its gonna be difficult because I don't see that coming in this 2018.but possibly it might grow more than 10k.

It is already almost September and the price is still so low. The bears are still in the control. I dont think we can make that history repeats again as now we are lacking volume and the momentum.

Sooner or later, it will. Bitcoin is still undervalued and there should be more utilization of bitcoin as a regular currency. When that happens, bitcoin will just cross the all time high.

It all depends on the strength of fundamentals impacting upon the Cryptocurrency community. If we begin to see concurrent positive news, massive adoption and legalisation of Cryptocurrency on a broad perspective, we will shoot far above the $20k.
I think that new top is needed 2 or 3 years. But everything is possible. If some interesting news appear we will see new top earlier.

I think so, the market is cyclical. According to the theory of wave analysis, growth to $ 20,000 was just a third wave. Now the fourth is correctional, and by the end of the year, perhaps, there will be a fifth.
We don't know that yet but their is possibilities that bitcoin price are back again to its value in 2017 or surpassed it but no one can predict it right because a lot of predictions we say are false we expect that the market value will increase more and we expect to much but we will believe more to it and earn more profit.
Maybe not this year, just by seeing the pricing chart this past few months its a doubt to reach $20k again but of course in the next years it will go up eventually so now is the right time to invest more.

I guess after 3-5 years it may reach or even surpass $20,000 again.

Yes I think that it will again reach its all time high and then surpass it. But not this year, maybe in the coming year. The good thing to do is to invest while we are in bearmarket. Don't wait for bitcoin to reach it's all time high before you put your money in cryptocurrency. Jump to:
