What's your basis for this. I don't know but to be honest it feels like it is already impossible to exceed that $20k ATH. Especially not this 2018. Just look at how bleeding the market is.

if you are referring to bitcoin then yes it will surely pass $20k. maybe not now, since the market is very down but on the long run i know that bitcoin will definitely pass that amount.

I think sooner or later, it will happen. Bitcoin is still undervalued and there must be more use of Bitcoin as a regular currency. You only have to trust Bitcoin and keep holding it for as long as you can. Finally in the long run it will reach high prices.

It's not just whales olaying with us...whales have an interest in high prices just like everyone. I don't believe in all the conspiracy theories...just look at the facts. People lost interest in crypto, volumes are low, fewer people are buying/selling crypto and not enough people are using crypto for buying goods.

Agreed. But I think it will be much later. Not to the EoY. I predict it will happen not earlier end of 2019 and with strong reasons only. Today I don's see anything for such growth

Actually , it never have reached the 20000usd mark last year but it is surely close on reaching such amount. This year, downtrend is obervable. The dominance of the market dips is wht makes this increase impossible to happen. If there'll be an increase this year, I think it won't be enough for Bitcoin to reach such huge mount. but for now focus on holding.

It reached $20k on some exchanges. I have a screenshot from CEX.io for example.

And some people in Korea paid way more than 20k during that time.

What we are doing is similar to the time period between 2014-2017. Bitcoin is going to sleep for a while. People will slowly lose interest and hope. $20k buyers will start to dump their hodlings and whales will increase their stash, again slowly. This takes time.

When enough people do buy high, sell low; whales will wake up again and this is probably going to happen around 2021 aftee halving. Then we moon to $100k.

For many reasons, Bitcoin is different from all crypto. So let's say Altcoins are created every day, and competition will be increasingly difficult in the future. While Bitcoin has its own place, and is maintained throughout the community to remain on the highest throne. So yes, I believe Bitcoin will be able to beat its highest price in the future.

In my opinion, if we talk about Bitcoin, maybe we won't find competitors in terms of volatility. Everyone in the community will at least try to possess even a small amount. And I think when a significant new community has increased, I think Bitcoin has a potential far greater than 20k.

I think the total market cap is higher this year compared to the same point last year and for the Q4 2017 bull run to take BTC to 20k USD i think a similar bull run this year will take it beyond the 20k mark and to high price. However no one can really predict how the market will behave, all we have are assumptions and theories.

$20,000 USD is not a long shot. if it happened last year when Bitcoin started at $3,500 USD, why would it not reach $20,000 USD when price of Bitcoin now is at $7,000 USD. It could even pass $20,000 USD if you just try to use the same percentage of increase from last year to this year. Just HODL.

I think nope in my observation this year isn't a year for bitcoin and the whole cryptocurrency, a lot of trials and correction facing of crypto as of now it might be maybe next year 2019 bitcoin goes bounceback again their value at the coinmarketcap, in this year i think price will uprise a litle bit no too high like last month of year 2017.

I think cryptocurrency prices are unpredictable, anything happens in encryption, and there are too many uncertainties in the market. However, I personally estimate that this year is unlikely to exceed 20k. Now the cryptocurrency price is still very low, and the market is still not optimistic.

For where, for ethereum to reach 10,000 this year, it will be very hard, not to talk of $20,000 . Though market price is unpredictable, anything can happen, I just hope everything turn in favour of investor and traders.

Its an unpredictable market and unpredictable means it can't be predicted. So now one knows what's going to happen after 30 days in the market. Did anyone even thought in 2013 that btc will reach upto $19000? But it did. With the more popularity now than ever, it can go well beyond 20,000$ but no one knows when. We may stay at the current price range for months or years too because like I said earlier, this market is unpredictable.
