Eventually, science would be able to recreate dinosaurs by using genes. But I would't recommend it, we literally have 3 movies explaining why that would be a bad idea

Don't get too much brainwashed by the movies. How these recreated dinosaurs can become even more dangerous than some of the fighter jets and nuclear weapons? It will be great to have them.

Robotic dinosaurs are more viable, but anyway cloning dinausers remind me of one of the games I liked the most in my youth aka Dino crisis 1/2 was epic

Robotic dinosaurs? Are you joking. What is the purpose? To amuse the children? By bringing back Dinosaurs from the Dead will bring big Pride to humanity that we can do anything. This is a great stepping stone for our civilization.

LOL robodinosaurs. Don't we already have them at Universal studios? lol

Godzilla isn't a robot or a dinosaur is it?

There's a difference between conservations and keeping animals in crappy poorly run zoos.

In 99% of the zoos, the animals are well cared for and they live for almost twice the duration as they would otherwise live in the wild. In addition to that, exhibiting the animals in zoos bring in the much needed revenue, which is required for nature conservancy activities.

I wonder if we had the tecnhology would they actually create a Jurrasic Park?

Probably not after seeing that film  Cheesy. Far too dangerous and also very expensive.

well we could make a temporary Jurassic Park to prove to the people we could do it.  and then kill off the dinosaurs when they get ruley

No matter how much I want a Jurassic Park, I say it shouldn’t happen. Why? Simply because keeping animals in captivity is wrong.

What load of BS? Sometimes, keeping animals in captivity is necessary to save them from extinction. Check the case of Siberian tigers. There are only around 100 of them out there in the wild. However, the captive population  number around 4,000. If not for the gene pool inputs from the captive population, the tigers might have died out long ago in the wild.

It's funny how some people think keeping animals in captivity in a zoo is wrong. Newsflash; wild animals die and suffer all the time. It's tough to be an animal in the wild. They don't have morals or a social security system, their life isn't some happy wild roam of dreams...

It depends on what sort of captivity. Some animals would probably be extinct or very near so if we hadn't put some of them in captivity. Of course, the reason they're almost extinct is probably our own fault, but at least some people are trying to correct the mistakes we've made as a spaecies.

Most of the times, but not always. Sometimes, natural catastrophes can also result in species extinction. The best example is that of the Miami blue butterfly, which became extinct after the Hurricane Andrew. Several species have become extinct as a result of historical volcanic eruptions.

Hurricanes Hurting Endangered Species

Quote
Hurricanes Dennis and Katrina and two tropical storms have damaged the shrinking habitats of threatened and endangered species along the Gulf Coast. The two species most affected by the storms have been the Alabama beach mouse and sea turtles.

There’s only 2 problems with bringing back the dinosaurs.
One, successfully assembling the genetic code (see the book The Lost World [AFTER reading the first one!!!]).
Two, they will never be free.
No matter how much I want a Jurassic Park, I say it shouldn’t happen. Why? Simply because keeping animals in captivity is wrong.

What about eating them?

Most probably dinosaurs would taste like chicken. Because dinosaurs is chicken's ancestor Smiley
If dinosaurs really taste like chicken then we will farm them! Why to farm 1000 chicken when you can have 1 dino......hahaha

Yeah, but they'd also need much more food, and I suspect farming them would be a pretty dangerous task Cheesy.
