Almost all the projects coming nowadays are shits anyway. They have no new development to offer, no use case to create market demand, no stracture to attract potential big investor. As a result, this projects never get tye attention from the community and get died after couple of months. Or sometimes create short term hype and become pump and dump scheme. I would stay away from such new projects.
Always remember that most crypto investments are all risky even in bitcoin no one can tell if for how long this bitcoin will have such high value new or old coins theres always a risk you can select most trusted old coins and diversify your investments instead.
So, the main question is that Is it risky to invest in new crypto coins/tokens? or it is good for a very certain time of investment?
As you are asking if you should invest in random coins for random people in internet, you certainly should stay away from those coins.

For now, if I were you I would invest only in bitcoin.
Many of us were well known the Coinmarketcap from where we receive all cryptocurrency like coins and tokens details like on which exchange they listed, what is the 24-hour treading volume, or which platform they based on, etc. These days many new crypto coins and tokens was introducing and listing on many exchanges and It makes a very difficult decision for the investor to choose which coins or tokens should they invest to make some good profit. Many of the new cryptocurrency was makes a good pump in their stating days and after they dump in a very dramatic way. This cause a big loss to the investors and the trust in these types to new coins and tokens was finished. So, the main question is that Is it risky to invest in new crypto coins/tokens? or it is good for a very certain time of investment?
It's always risky to invest in any-kind-of-coins. Well, I can say it is good if you know how to jump in and jump out the market at the right time. As you said, a lot of coins pumped and then dumped dramatically. Then the problem is your skills in trading. It's "safer" to invest in coins that don't pump and dump surprisingly (big coins such as BTC, ETH, BNB, etc). However, the more risks, the more profits! It's your choice!
