If you want to store your wallet it very safe using MEW and i'm not recommend you to hold your coin in exchange because too many case of exchange got hacked in this year. Try to use ledger or trezor it will be more safe than Priv key or Json file.
Yeah! I think myetherwallet is very secure, I've been using it for sometimes now and I gats no issue with it but I will still recommend you to use imtoken if you're to use the wallet on mobile, this is also a secure wallet.

Yes mew of course a very good wallet, you just need to be able to use it for security purposes and not to burn your key in phishing
Yeah it is secure but not that secure, if you are a person that like to click all links without recheck it first you must change that habit because there's a lot phising link that ready to steal your wallet and mew is not reaponsible if you lost your wallet

I have been using MyEtherWallet for over seven moths now, it has never failed me or hacked from unknown person, because the private key are highly secured in my house room, not to be exposed it outside. and my MyEtherWallet has the potential to accept many alt-coin in the crypto industries.

It's not safe then. Seriously, when a wallet can be impersonated by phishing sites then it means it's not safe by any means because if the users dont put so much attention into this thing they may ended up losing some amount of money which is not good. better use hardware wallet I must say

In the past, there were some dns hacks that forwarded people to fake myetherwallet sites. So be careful of course. Using it with a ledger would be the safest thing actually. So get a ledger nano or trezor to be sure of safety.
