Its OK to use but you have to be careful it's one wallet I have heard so much hack about, make sure you don't share your PK and don't store it with the regular email you use to make registrations for crypto related platforms. Alsoake sure you are signing into the right myetherwallet website

No! I wouldn't suggest using MEW because of its vulnerability to hacking. It is the most famous wallet for storing erc20 tokens but it can be hacked easily especially if you lost your private key. Also, it can be hacked through pishing, so be careful if you are using it. I highly suggest ledger or trezor for storing your funds. If you cannot afford to buy these kinds, you can use Metamask or IMtoken for security purposes.

That wallet is somehow recommend. It is safe, you just have to be careful from those phishing sites.
It is the most used erc20 compatible wallet but it is the most prone to hacking. It is the least secured erc20 compatible wallet, many people are using it because of ease of access. But many people were also scammed for using it. It is very vulnerable to hacking at pishing sites. I recommend to use Metamask at IMtoken because it is more secured that MEW.
So far, MyEtherWallet is the most utilized wallet for ethereum or ERC-20 standard coin that mostly used. My advice is it not perfect. MyEtherWallet is the good wallet for us but here is have some risk. A lot of scammers and lot of hackers are in the crypto field. So online wallets are very risky. My MEW was hacked in 2016 with 2 ETH and different types of tokens. Then I bought a Ledger wallet. Hardware wallet is very secure than online wallets. Actually, ledger wallet is very useful for me. Now my all tokens in my ledger wallet.
