I would say yes as one can still make money in bitcoin trading (irrespective of slower movements) because there are many exchanges out there which provide leverage facility so using that facility one can earn good amounts of profits even in small moments but to be honest a lot risk is involved in such trades and I have lost 100% capital because of not putting stop loss.

I wonder if someone still should get into trading Bitcoin at this point? There was a time with incredible aggresive swings so that daytrading was interesting, but now the movements appear but much slower. Is it still worth it to trade?

Bitcoin trading has always worth it but in recent time the price has been fairly stable which makes day trading difficult but at the same time, Alts have proven to be a very potent alternative the issue there is knowing the right coin to buy in other not to make some mistake. I believe you already know that based on the way the question is being structured.
Not only about the volatile price that recently not there.
But also the current price quite high per 1 bitcoin , makes people a little bit doubt to invest huge amount.
When the price around $300 there a lot of people around me holding bitcoin more than 10 bitcoin and trade daily , but now ..... less than that. Not as worth as when in low price i guess.
Yeah the high price of the bitcoin has been always a huge problem when it comes to bringing new investors because they are always afraid of putting huge amount of money into it considering it does not have a stable price or a stable growth rate, and it involves a lot of courage to get into it but no risk no earn.

i do agree some of invest wont buy bitcoin or invest bitcoin because of its price it pumps and dumps and lately lot of user panics because of the dump of bitcoin and those who is not really experience user of bitcoins and they sell it. Well going back to the topic. those really skills investor they would really buy bitcoin

Of course it is worth to do trading. But you need to have patience and the knowledge so that you will not lose (well it's a risk) in the long run. Making profit is your goal here but you have to remember that it's not an easy task you also have to invest time as well. So if you have the time and the bitcoin to trade then get your hands on it and try.
yes i also think so that still it is the best time to trade bitcoin, because the price is still trading in a low value as compare it to its potential value. people are no interested to buy bitcoin and those people who already have bitcoin they are not going to sell their bitcoin for any cost. they are waiting for the price to increase more. so i think those people who are going to trade bitcoin in the present time, so they are still in benefit.

Before we listen to you can you please post your trades so we can see if you are a winning trader or not? Who are you to say that the "price is still low compared to its potential value"? Are you a Bitcoin expert or an economist? You have said nothing that compels the people to follow your advice.

You are wrong right now is the correct time to go for trading as you can see daily their is more then 10 to 20$ difference of fluctuation is going on, so if you do proper analysis you can profit daily very good.

have you ever done day trading yourself?
i think if you had done it you would have known that it is still good and profitable to day trade even if there isn't big swings around in the market.
bitcoin is not yet there. and the stability you see from time to time is temporary because people want time to accumulate without causing the price to go much higher than the level they are comfortable buying at.

If its forex its worth because of the leverage but I think not in bitcoin particularly. But it could be worth the earning still if you are going to trade a lot of BTC maybe 100BTC that a slight movement in the market can be worth in buying and shorting.

It may be a lot  worth on Altcoins because the rest are still moving up to 5%.

of course it is worth to trade, maybe bitcoin swinging is slower but you can trade bitcoin with altcoin, or you can just simply buy bitcoin and wait for a year and then trade it, at that time I am sure the price will be higher than the time you bought it, but eventhough the swinging is slow but there is always an opportunity to earn some profit
yes that is right it is still good time to buy bitcoin,  bitcoin is just trading above 1000 USD but it is expected that the price of bitcoin will increase more. and may be this time bitcoin is going to hit 2000 USD in nest few moths, therfore if a person can afford so he has a very good chance to trade bitcoin and then hold it for the price increase. hope that he will get a good profit from it.

For trading bitcoin to fiat money it is not worth for me, because will need large capital,
except you use much capital for trading bitcoin to fiat.
But for trading altcoins of course yes it is still worth because cloud made good profit from a little capital
also we can use large capital too on trading altcoins.

yes it is still worth it but to get more profit we have to concern for altcoin too not only bitcoin because sometimes bitcoin price movement was very slow and hard to get profit from it but altcoins trading also not really bad because if you found the exact altcoins which have potential to grow with very fast the profit will very good and it works for me all this time

Can you prove that trading is worth it by showing us your trades as proof? I know a lot of the time, most of you are not telling the truth especially when profits in trading are concerned. 90% of "traders" lose money and the winning 10% mostly do not post here on Bitcointalk. So that means a big majority of all of you who said that trading is still worth it are either losers or are not active traders at all.

Friend, trading is worth a try and if you are truly traders there is no such as slow, trading is worth a wait. And making money is worth waiting too. Just make the right moves to do it and make it.Trading is best option if you have bitcoins and altcoins. Can make good money if you have some interest in trading.

Trading with bitcoin is really worth it if bitcoin's rate aren't rise or dump rapidly. Better to trade in a consistent market of bitcoin. Because if you do trading on a long term trading with bitcoin pairs and votality doesn't occured, then that is profitable. In my point of view, trading is really worth it to trade because it is much profitable, besides it will help you to know more about altcoins and crypto currrency coin.

Of course the best time for training is when the prices go up.
As I have said this before , I would like you people to also know.
Like the thing I'm going to tell you people might be confusing but if you guys understand it would be amazing for you.
Now the best time to buy is when the prices of bitcoin go up.
When the prices of bitcoin will go up you guys will have to give less dollars. ( If the trading system will be based on bitcoin).
And so goes for buying.
You guys can sell is when the prices will be less.
