I will advise you never to put in your hard earned money in cryptocurrency if you don't have adequate knowledge on how investment into bitcoin and others altcoins work. You are going into a venture that is different from conventional illiquid assets like stocks and security.

With the trend of bitcoin from early this year up to now, the price of bitcoin is increasing though it drops also because it's normal to happen but after the drop it increased much higher before the drop, so it is not possible to happen that bitcoin can drop to altcoin price.

Yes bitcoin can drop anytime soon but if you’re planning to invest in bitcoin better do so because even altcoin will increase in value this year surely bitcoin will grow even higher than the alts, there might be some good alt to invest but bitcoin has the lowest risk of failure for me you can also try investing in both so you can maximize your earnings.

Where did you get that news? Is that true or just a hoaks? I don't think that it can be happen this year, but if that is true, then why not try to wait until the price drops before you invest? The best time to buy is when bitcoin price drop.

The best time to buy is when bitcoin price drop.It"s possible in theory but the chance that it happens is maybe 1% or less. In reality, the thing is different. Imagine we have the Bitcoin price falling to 1000$ how would react the altcoins? 99% of chance that it follows the same path.
The chances to see Bitcoin dropping this year to the price similar to the altcoin (average) is about 0.1% and I can't imagine the drama it would be.

It's impossible and where are you got that news? that's just another bullshit. Even a lot of people are saying about the bitcoin was a bubble and they are still buying the more bitcoin.Or it just another FUD to the bitcoin. The possibility of the bitcoin worth the altcoin price is there. But less than some percent i suppose.
In getting involved in trading the crypto space, we need to have an exact timing of when to sell and when to buy it. The fact is, it is possible to happened that bitcoin can drop to altcoin prices anytime but maybe not this year I think.There is so much volatility that causes the price of a coin rise and fall quickly, making it a risky investment without proper research carried out..

Bitcoin is now $8000 and you are still looking for the right time to come . Invest now or forget it tomorrow because it might grow more than $8000 soon .
I don't think the person who suggested you that "altcoins may drop bitcoin" knows a thing about market . Do your research , you will know bitcoin is dominating so much that all the altcoins are going red and going through the worst phase at the moment . If some other altcoin comes up with a good price then bitcoin price may fall , but at the present time bitcoin is the king !

Regarding anything happening to Bitcoin, then I can assure you in coming 4-5 years at least, Bitcoin is not gonna lose the dominance in the market. Many altcoins meanwhile will definitely rise in overall marketcap but will not be in the stage of competing Bitcoin. Moreover, regarding investing, it's always best to do your own research and don't follow everyone's suggestions in crypto investment(highly risky). But you can go for Bitcoin anytime. 5x profit isn't going anywhere next year if you invest today.

It is possible for bitcoin to drop to altcoin prices but not this year. It is highly unlikely for btc to go down to those levels if mass adoption of it is increasing everyday, generating more demand for it. Invest on bitcoin if you want but you better do it on dumps for cheaper entry points. For now I think the chance of this happening in the next 5 years is less than 1%. Do not be afraid to invest into btc, but before you do make sure to research the mechanism of holding btc safely so that your funds would not be lost in the process.

When bitcoin drops, the supply of it's investment or the money that came in to bitcoin will totally go to the alt coins but it is not true or whomever said that to you is a liar. Bitcoin will never be in the position of altcoin price at the end of the year. Instead of saying that, a lot of speculations says that the price can go up higher and is continuous to give us more unexpected surprises. Bitcoin is unstoppable now so if you to invest in bitcoin, take the risk and invest now.
That's possible mate, and if we are going to analyze the current trend of alts right now we will witness the dumps of it's current value. Most of them right now were really of price droppings. Some panic sellers were dumping their holdings, but that drop from bitcoin to altcoin this year will not be possible to happen this year, and I believed that we could probably see it by next year because investors might not think of any profit when bitcoin price became much expensive.
Not only "some" panic sellers but they are too many of them, the weak handlers and they are too scared when the price of bitcoin is dropping. And as a remedy for it, they are divesting their bitcoins before it losses more value into some alt coins. And when the price of bitcoin starts to recover again or when they've enough profit with altcoins already that will be the time for them to get back to bitcoin. Bitcoin now is really strong and I have a trust on it that it will not drop just like altcoin price.

That i think would be impossible since the market value of Bitcoin is way higher than any ither altcoin. So the possibility is small for its value to drop as that much in just a short period of time, now that we are only a month away before this year end. You should invest now because its value is exoected to be more expensice in the future that will give you profit from investing to Bitcoin.

If you think "bitcoin can drop to altcoin prices in this year". And you also want to invest in bitcoin then I will like to say that you must correct your thoughts about bitcoin first then buy them. Because if you want to make money from investing bitcoin then you need to hold it for some time, and that need patience .But if you have that kind of thought, a temporary fall of bitcoin price will trigger your though and you will ended up selling in low price and loosing money.
