Bitcoin's transaction fees have been huge once again, so my question is really if Litecoin can shine again when Bitcoin transactions are too expencife?

Or will Litecoin continue to be forgotten?
It's best to have several choices for alternative transactions. Litecoin is a good alternative, to be honest, and when someone is having trouble with the high fees of BTC, LTC is still a way to go.

But this time, the fees for Bitcoin have gone down and there's no problem anymore for those that would like to do transactions. Although, it's still quite high compared to before the halving came.

If it's going to be forgotten, I don't think so. The silver Bitcoin won't be forgotten too easy.

Every time the Bitcoin network is congested and fees are high, Litecoin is discussed as an alternative, but unfortunately this is only a temporary alternative and will not change Litecoin's position, only as a replacement coin, because Litecoin is not as much as Bitcoin which is included in the payment options on many websites as a means of payment. example in casinos Bitcoin is number one in all crypto casinos while litecoin is sometimes not listed in the casino's payment options, another example is when I want to pay for a VPN subscription I find more that accept Bitcoin.
Litecoin is more widely used for trading on exchanges, which is why the volume remains high and becomes widely discussed at certain times

Litecoin is only remember whenever the price of Bitcoin is high and people will be using it to do some transactions and store some coins because the transaction fee of Bitcoin is high and after when everything has come back to normalcy then they would go back to their normal wallets again. And everyone would forget Litecoin again. Litecoin is just like a supportive coin in the ecosystem because they only use it when the transaction fee is high.

Bitcoin transaction fee is already back to the level which is tolerable to send transaction without hurting your pocket. Bitcoin is now being use mostly for investment purposes and rarely for payment especially micro transactions ever since the fee gone high.

I doubt Litecoin can be a Bitcoin alternative since people purchased Bitcoin due to its price potential to grow due to demands. If small fee is being considered here for transactions then there’s a lot of altcoins that has a cheaper fee that perfect even for micro transactions.
The cost of us spending on transaction becoming cheaper, was the price of bitcoin itself, which is quite sad really because I rather spend a lot more money on transactions to keep the price high. I rather pay 40+ dollars per transaction to see bitcoin go back to over 70k again.

However, it is what it is and there is nothing that we can do, so there isn't really anything that we could take a look at and consider as a good thing, just let it be and we are going to have a market that will decide which one they will prefer. I believe that the price will go up eventually anyway, its not going to be that simple, we just need to arrange a situation where it will not be all that quick to sell, keep holding and we will do fine in the end.

Litecoin has never been forgotten, one can perhaps say a little set aside now with the fees for bitcoin transactions skyrocketing, i believe that its use will rise exponentially, let's say that its current value is between 76 and 89 dollars but i believe that in short future may rise significantly

If you are still having sense then you shall aware if there are plenty of scalable altcoins available in the market. The altcoin like solana or even eth optimism will let you play a very small amounts of money and it is also doing fast transaction. How can litecoin shine again if there were more tokens that have better scalability and cheap transaction.

Look at the picture. How can litecoin fight against solana even polygon? There are bunch of scalable blockchain these days.

Or will Litecoin continue to be forgotten?
Litecoin will continue to be forgotted. Look at how liquidt gets centralized into the blockchain with so many utilities. Litecoin can be only used for send or receive your money only. This is a garbage coin now if you compare the utilities of litecoin to the another blockchain.

You can also read the comparison between solana and litecoin too. I would rather than use solana instead of litecoin.

I think that it will keep its place, there are a lot of other altcoins that are as cheap as Litecoin, but more popular. Kinda sad, Litecoin was one of the first cryptos I used.

I can't determine the stance of LiteCoin at this time but I think that it's being manipulated because the CEX understands it'd always attract Investors due to the potential fact that it'd highlight increment opportunities to the AltCoins.

I guess we're all hope on that good day.

If you are planning to invest in Bitcoin and any other altcoin, I will advice you to go ahead, because Bitcoin transactions fee will definitely reduce to normal before the end of this week which you need to exercise patience for the fee to reduce before you can purchase or you can purchase Bitcoin now if you are capable in financial aspect. Don't use Litecoin to compare Bitcoin, because it will be difficult for you to earn income from Litecoin that will be massive more than Bitcoin income, because Bitcoin still remain the king among other cryptocurrencies which investors will like to invest at anytime. I think, the team behind Litecoin are seriously working to ensure they make their investors happy again, which is the reason it will not forgotten in the market.

As far as I understand Litecoin was popular but currently Bitcoin has huge transaction fees but investors can choose better currency than Litecoin. Although there is no credible investment base for Litecoin, it can be a good trade for someone who doesn't care about these things and only looks at price action for investors who are very certain about Litecoin being a good investment.

That's funny I literally just commented on another thread how I use litecoin in times like this.  When bitcoin is expensive I generally use litecoin to move crypto around.  It's accepted by a ton of places and by a ton of people because of how liquid it still is.  It definitely has its place and is here to stay if ypu ask me.

then why litecoin? Many altcoins also have very low transaction fees. I think high or low bitcoin transaction fees will not affect the price of Litecoin because currently there are also a lot of altcoins with low transaction fees. Litecoin is starting to be forgotten not because of Bitcoin transaction fees, but because it is less popular than other altcoins.
Many altcoins have low transaction fees, but they're not as safe as Litecoin. Most of them are centralized altcoins that can be frozen by the developers, while Litecoin is less decentralized.

You need to see this graph, as you can see Litecoin's transactions spikes during inscriptions, ordinals and runes, people didn't forget with Litecoin.

People treat Litecoin like the silver version of Bitcoin, so they might start accumulating Litecoin when they can't afford to buy Bitcoin.

First of all, Litecoin (LTC) will never be forgotten since there are very few crypto projects left that implement full decentralization. Then regarding the price of Litecoin (LTC) which will shine again when transaction fees on the Bitcoin (BTC) network are expensive, that doesn't make sense. Because currently there are many other alternatives that people are more interested in for small - medium transactions, such as the Tron (TRX) network with its TRC-20, Binance Coin (BNB) & Solana (SOL).

Litecoin reached around $110+ last year. It's last all time high was $370+. We've seen bitcoin break it's all time high this year but litecoin hasn't been any near. Even if they reached half of their all time high, i.e. 150+, it would be x2 at current price. Litecoin is a solid POW coin which is secure and decentralized. They are limited in number and cheap and fast to transact. They are widely accepted as payment in many platforms and wallets. It's a good time to accumulate some litecoin.

No It never came out on my mind that Litecoin is forgotten since this will always be associated on discussions and always be mentioned as top altcoins in the market. Maybe we can see some good price interaction since there's a lot of people prefer bitcoin or other altcoin since what they think they can earn more better money there. Litecoin just need some little hype and maybe from that many would choose to have it and use it regularly on their investments and for spending it on entertainment purposes.

Litecoin will remain to be the top alts and it cannot be eliminated since this coin is already stable also known by a lot of people so we should not worry about Litecoin for not getting any spotlight in this season.

Litecoin could have another surge in popularity & a buying spree for sure. The fact that it’s still here & functioning as it should be shows its strength. It’s obviously never going to flip Bitcoin but there is definitely a good chance Litecoin pumps hard in the upcoming bull run.

I don’t think litecoin is forgotten though. Yes it might not be the noisiest in social media but I don’t think it’s doing that bad. With that said there is definitely a chance for it to increase.

Especially now that litecoin etf are in talks. Of course we don’t know if it will actually be approved but for the moment I can see it being used as one of the best alternatives to btc.
