For me yes it does have an effect on trading people would try to gain while they are force to stay at home for their safety so they might find it a way to earn or be busy while they are staying home.
I have been more active in trading sites nowadays because I don't have much to do so I guess it does have effect on trading or crypto.

This pandemic not only brought a virus but brought drought to the economy of almost all nations around the world. This drought that a pandemic brought has also an effect to the crypto market as we can see crypto itself was struggling to boast its value up to high peak like in the year 2017. But this pandemic brought people also to get more engaged in technology and hope that a lot more have discovered the cryptocurrency and attract more investors.

Adding to your response, back at 2018 to 2019 I believe we experience huge Barish market if am not mistaken, so pandemic cases have no connection to trading. We are digit now!.

You're probably missing out then. Because the pandemic has affected almost every market (crypto market inclusive). It is currently hampering global economies. Even people who had savings in crypto tend to withdraw it in order to survive as there's no much jobs right now. There was a crypto market crash back in march this year, that crash was caused by people panicking over the pardon. Because bitcoin is still above $9K doesn't mean it isn't affected by the coronavirus effects.
Since the arrival of COVID-19, all countries with developed economies have experienced a crisis and without the vaccine, the world will never be able to return to the way it was before. In my country, there are millions of unemployed people and I am one of them so I just hope this can end soon. During this time, I can only choose to trade in this market or participate in some bounty campaigns to earn more income.
This pandemic dont have direct effect on trading but it does affect the traders because some of us are struggling to survive during this trying times. We are relying on our other source of income to sustain our needs. If a trader lose his real job, he will count on his earnings here so his trading activities might become frequent depending on the status of the market.
I think, there is no connection with trading, because it is the most secure investment or trade, in trading, there is no touch connected with crypto-currency. So i think, it should more investment than the other business.

In my own opinion I think that previously the trading development are trapped with more sequences and instantly have a problem before the corona virus attack.Because the yearly financial crisis booming are constantly propagating due to calamity together with climate changes and the investment impact has been suffering.SO I think we have to accept our digital way of life as traders as well we cannot force to prevent this as our individual history.

Guys we can stop talking about corona virus effecting trading because this is July now and even though corona is still out there, the trading world is back to what it was. The only time it was effecting anything was around late march and all of April, by middle of may it started to not really effect anything, not bitcoin, not altcoins, not gold, not stock market, not forex, not oil nothing. So at the end of the day it DID effected things, but right now I do not think it is effecting anything at all.
Definitely, you can make a case about how there are scientists who are saying that we couldn't find a cure which means we will still have a bigger impact later on with a second wave, but that is something that WILL happen according to them and not happening right now so we can't talk about today.

In fact, coronavirus did much harm to every country and undermined their economies, but nevertheless, most countries, and most importantly businessmen and people, managed to navigate in difficult times and found other options to support business and their lives, but the whole system worked a little differently. people went to work remotely, and also found other ways to buy food, things, and other goods in home isolation. The situation is the same with businessmen who complied with quarantine conditions, closed their enterprises and stores, but used online resources and delivery services to continue to work and trade their products. but if you pay attention to the stock market and the cryptocurrency market, then after a slight decline, everything began to return to normal. In my opinion, the situation will even improve, because due to many problems investors will look for alternative investment opportunities. besides, I cannot say that coronavirus harmed the cryptocurrency market.
