Actually, you should ask yourself: Who in there right mind would invest in an altcoin thats a 1:1 Bitcoin clone (litecoin)?

Like he's on cue, Darkota shows up just to say something really, really stupid about Litecoin.

http://www.coindesk.com/information/comparing-litecoin-bitcoin/

You posted that article for what? It lists differences that don't Matter, blocktimes, algo, that doesn't matter as Scyrpt is essentially the same as Sha-256 now since its Not asic resistant anymore. Litecoin's 2.5 minute blocktime Does Not matter, there are altcoins like Fastcoin that has 10 second blocktimes(putting litecoin to shame), also Bitcoin has Instant payments with 1 confirmation through bitpay.

Litecoin Has No Features of its own to differentiate it from Bitcoin, making it more useless than the hundreds of scamcoins released(at least they have Some features)

Also back to that article you posted, here is a quote from them: "Transaction speed (or faster block time) and confirmation speed are often touted as moot points by many involved in bitcoin, as most merchants would allow zero-confirmation transactions for most purchases."

Even they admit that litecoins 2.5minute blocktime doesnt matter, LOL.

if litecoin dies and never comes back you can close this section up.

Why? There will always be a 2nd place Crypto.

yes but who in the right mind would then invest in alts if the lead alt for so long failed?......just most crappy alt pumpers who knock ltc thinking it will benifit their own alt are too stupid to see  Smiley

my guess would be ummm perhaps someone behind the scenes in the BTC etf who realises all the BIG hurdles facing BTC in getting listed aren't suffered by LTC Wink

anyway you're a troll that knows shit and only likes to hear the sound of his own bullshit post in his own self moderated forum thread....why not just stick to that?

Your first sentence made no sense. So I'm right, there is no reason to invest in an altcoin thats a 1:1 Bitcoin clone (Litecoin)

LTC has survived the fall!

Even if it got dumped down to $1 it would still survive.

Yea, and Litecoin is a 1:1 Bitcoin clone, there can't be two bitcoins...Litecoin offers Nothing over Bitcoin, even Litecoin's distribution is badly fucked up... making it useless to use.

If anything, the altcoin market right now is more "wise" than it was before, since it placed a bitcoin clone like Litecoin at #2. Now that's going to be changed.

I checked the price and it was $5, then I blinked and when I checked again it was $3.50. The bitcoin flash crashes seem to be putting the boot into litecoin. Who knows if it will survive, or go sky high again.

I know at least one miner who sold all his mining equipment on ebay after the price crashed. It was a viable business model to some people. A lot of people are left with mining equipment they don't know what to do with.

While the price is going ever lower, I really doubt Litecoin will 'die'. It's liquidity along makes it a valuable coin.

While I'm less certain than before, I still think it will maintain the number two spot.

Probably won't die, but probably won't remain #2 either.

That's a very hard prediction, Litecoin's value could hit 0$ or 20$ in a couple of months, I hope it will go up btw.
