It is very profitable for gambling site owners - fast profit without any problem.  Wink With martingale you can looose fast and effective, except if you have several hundreds BTC for playing - but even then I think you can loose them fast with martingale.  Grin

In my experience not only Martingale but what ever strategy you are using in Dice will not be profitable in long term, only short term profit will be their . I used to play dice but i use to change the strategy frequently according to the game going, that is why i come out in profit in short and stop playing for that day and start next day with new strategy. Like this way you can be in profit if you change your strategy and play in gambling.

Martingale in my opinion is system not designed to make you win as many people would think, but rather designed to diminish your loses.
And that's it. Be extremely careful about using martingale it can ruin you and eat your whole bankroll during extended sessions.

Well it did work to some but the percentage of those people who succeeded is very small compared to those who lost using the same system.

Mathematically it isn't. According to my experience it can be profitable is the short term, but certainly not in the long (or even medium) term.
Even when martingale work in short term, many people lure to do it continuously which make it long term = not work.
So basically doing martingale system wouldn't earn you any profit, never try it because I have tried it in 50/50 chance game like roulette, baccarat etc. And lost all of my money.

As most people have said on here.  It is probably profitably in the very short term, but in the long run you are more and more likely to lose x amount of hands in a row so you will more than likely lose all your money before you gain a good amount or enough to quit.

At first it will works for a while the bookmakers will let you enjoy winning but greediness was built in with us, so in the long run you will lose it all, martingale will only profitable to those who knows when to stop even in the small amount of winning.

Initially it is profitable, but henceforth always lose. and really work on short-term.

it's still depends on your luck. you can bust on the first try. so no, it doesn't really work on short-term.

Martingale can be bot profitable and not profitable, it depends on one factor only called by "luck". When you have a good luck, so you will get some profit but if you have bad luck the you will lose all your money in some losses streak.

It depends on your luck mate. I your lucky then it can.
Martingale is risky tho. If you have a low bankroll, you can eventually loose everything with martingle if you got consecjtive looses.

I lost 17 consecutive times using martingale system on a 1% house edge a year ago so I guess it can profitable at one point but be careful on using it too much for it will hit you hard.

it can be profitable if you're lucky and know when to stop. most of the time it is not profitable though.

It is profitable for the casino where you play at because you will lose all your money.  Smiley

I've made something like 400k rolls 'martingaling', could lose 22 in a row, if I recall correctly, didn't bust, but with so many rolls the probability of busting is already quite high.

I got 26 losses in a row once. granted it happened on a questionable site (999dice). but I still think that's possible. lost about 1.5BTC (iirc) that I got from the same site.

I think the record on just-dice was 34 losses at 49.5%. Technically, you could have infinite losses, but this is not very probable.

wow. that's got to be a lot of losses even if you start with 1 satoshi. if you multiply by 2 on each loss you'll bust, how much, around 150 300BTC? my head hurts just thinking about that.
