Hi everyone!

I'm new in the Crypto World, but I am absolutely obsessed with it.

I want to start investing in BTC/ETH, maybe also some others like THETA, Audius and more.

I am following different youtubers, twitter accounts, discord channels, to learn as much I can about crypto as I can.

BUT, is not the correct time to invest? As long as I understand, we are in a bull-run right now, and many do believe that BTC and also ETH will grow. Some belive BTC will hit 100K and some also think ETH will be up to 10% of BTC total value by end of the year.
- And addition to this, we might see a drop and go in a bear-market, but this seems not to be the case.

I'm also looking into start long trading on buybit, I want to start small and get the hang of it and learn the system and how it works.

SO, back to the actual question: is NOW a good or bad time to begin investing? Or should I wait for a heavy drop in the market, which might not come?
- I am looking for a LONG term investment.

THX - I hope some clever crypto minds in here can share their thoughts about my questions above Smiley

For me, i think this is the BEST time to buy and invest in crypto, because as for today, the price of crypto are all falling down, it's a big short correction, so yeah, if you really need an advice this is a good or bad timing, this is the best timing to buy crypto in a such cheap price.
so you can earn as much profit as possible in the near future when the price already going up to the sky again. still it's all depend on your timing and luck, don't be panic when the price is still going down, it's a normal thing in the cryptospace.

A long term investment and for a newcomer to this market Bitcoin is always what we start with, and I think investing in it for a long one will always be the right thing to do. But since you are a novice I just want to advise that it is better to learn and learn more of the necessary knowledge in this market than an investment that you do not understand.

well, thinking about the bullrun of BTC it is really risky to invest with the King, I choose XRP as an altcoin to be one of the coins that I am Investing as of the moment not really risky at all. you should always know the charts weekly and have a weekly consultation. It is good to invest but Choose wisely, Work smart not Hard.

If you want to invest in Bitcoin or Ethereum this is the right time, bitcoin is being corrected and I believe, also most people that bitcoin
will still continue to grow with a high value. Besides Ethereum you can invest in potential coin such as ADA, or BNB, can also DOT.
But for beginners  should always be wary of market development, because crypto can go up and down quickly.

crypto market still in uptrend, but you need to becareful mate, because good or not its depends on your strategy
if you choose the right alt, i think you will get a good profit in long term investment, for example BNB, ethereum, cardano and polkadot

there is no good or bad timing to invest in crypto. it really does depend on your strategic moves. as long as you are practicing the simple rule of trading - buy low, sell high, which translates to selling your assets higher than what you bought, then youre good to go. but we cant say that you need to buy this time or hold for a bit. because no one can exactly tell you what will happen to the market. for long term investment, you are not worried the hourly change of the market but you are looking for the possible future of the coin. so for example, if you want to invest in bitcoin or any other alt, ask yourself, is this coin has future? will this be in the market few years from now. because if you are in panic mode every time there is a dip in the market, you will lose your mind. and i guess, holding is not for you.

Footing my own knowledge and understanding aboutvcryptocurrency market. Every market session is good and bad time to invest because of the crypto market volatile in nature which would make the market dump or pump in price without anything footing it.
But it important is the trader/investor knowledge in making a profitable decision and choosing an investment.

~snip~

Without a doubt the safest long-term investment is Bitcoin, now if you are going to look for altcoins there are currencies that are having a very good omen and are emerging much more due to their movement, they are talking a lot about BNB and Cardano, these coins are honestly given a great turnaround, they have increased demand, the reason why it helps them continue to rise in price is that they have been added to many casino and betting houses, because having a lot of movement in these platforms increases the market capitalization in these coins. ETH considered the second strongest currency, but its high fees are what have caused some disappointment, that is why BNB, Cardano (ADA) shine, now if you are looking for privacy and anonymity the best is Monero.

There’s really no perfect time to invest but since you aim for long term I’m sure that you might get something out of your investment. You’re doing the right thing by doing research and collect for opinions, however its your decision and knowledge will matter after all.

I disagree with the statement that nobody knows if this current market season is good or bad to invest in since it a bullish market. But let burst your bubbles, now it not the good/best time to invest but to seize the market opportunities, the best time to invest is when the market is in the bearish season when the weak hands are panic sell their holdings.

For me it is still good time to invest despite of the market flunctuation over the past weeks. It is still good but we shoulf be aware about the risk esprcially on those top coins. Yes they have great market price but right now they are not stable, they are changing on a daily basis.
Personal perspective will bring much subjectivity, I just stood at a fair angle and said that this time is very balanced for risk and return, it means we can invest but need to actively withdraw when losing or actively taking profits because market equilibrium is based on bitcoin, good time can become negative and vice versa, Bitcoin is proactive in manipulating our investments. So, regardless of timing good or bad, the movement of bitcoin is more important, it is active and we also need to be proactive, not passively hold, very easy to die with a strong collapse

Don't go looking for others belief. Try to just look for their opinion but you should make the final decision.
It is your money so it would be better if you have the full control of where it should go.

BTC and ETH is a good choice in my opinion.
But regarding other coins you have told, I don't have any idea about it.
Some Bitcoin supporters believe there is no good or bad time to invest when it comes to BTC and I agree with them.

Maybe we may come up on the same conclusion about the current market status of the cryptocurrency you opting to invest with but don't settle for what others have already concluded. Make your own research and don't fall for same mistake as what other have been.

Trusting yourself and instinct is best way to do. Looking back to how top Altcoins started and how they became today is one proof that step by step everything will be on the right track and each have it's time to boost on top. Investing needs much of our trust, confidence, knowledge and patience. What we have targeted or what our goals this day and future will surely achieve.

I do believe that we as a human are blessed for having our own kind of instinct, but this doesn't mean that our instinct will always come up as correct, so better to still have proof on your instinct for sure.

Just trust yourself on what you are seeing on the crypto of your choice, There are a lot of predictions on the internet and it's hard to tell who's prediction will happen. Analyze the chart, read patterns, and see the news with that you can somehow increase the chance of you gaining profit from your investments. A bear market is expected to arrive, Just always buy on the dip if you want to maximize the profits you want to get from your investments.

Also if you're really a newbie in crypto, You should always go to a top exchange such as Binance for you to experience reliable services.

You can't take the bullrun as the time to invest your money. Remember this word dude "buy low and sell high" which means you should enter the market when the bearish trend is happening and waiting for the crypto to recover from its temporary dump. i think that if this is more than enough to give you a clue about when the best time to invest.
If you can buy at the bottom price and why do you need to buy that when the bullish trend is coming?
DYOR is a must. I should remind you that your entry price will become a very important thing to determine how much you will get as a return for your profit and if you wanna go for long term just pick the best coins.

I would say that investing right now could be not profitable as much as you think. It could still be a bit profitable, but not as much as the people who made a lot of profit so far. So you should invest into the known coins like others said, that way you will be involved and you could make a profit later on. That is at least one method of how you could profit from it, and if not you could try other altcoins later on if you want to.

It is not going to be simple, but it could be at least a way to learn for you. You have to realize that this is a harsh market, we have so much volatility that even a regular drop scares people very easily and prices drop, I have seen people lose 50%+ in a day and earn 200% next day. This is why you should be always careful about what you are doing, otherwise you are not going to end up profiting if you are careless

Anytime will always be a perfect opportunity to invest as long as you have the funds to serve as your starting capital for the coin you wish to invest with. But of you were just into a little or limited fund, you can still work it out by finding coins with desirable prices that is having a potential to grow to be able to let you gain profit from it. Well,  you can still invest into big and well-known crypto but you can just be able to invest a small amount for the price of the popular cryptocurrencies are into an expensive range right now. There is no bad timing for investment as long as you let yourself be familiar with the market. Just seize the moment to invest into things that are capable of your fund's capacity. Just assure that you are picking only those worthy ones into your portfolio.

...SO, back to the actual question: is NOW a good or bad time to begin investing? Or should I wait for a heavy drop in the market, which might not come?...

For a trader who has experience in trading, it does not matter where the market is at the moment, because he can make a profit not only from the rise in price of the coin, but also when it falls. As a beginner, it will be difficult for you to trade using margin, and it will be more correct to invest after the coins have adjusted in price.
