It is the best time to short right now. You can make great profits buy quick buy and dumps in very short term (generally 3-4 days). So I don't think it is good time to invest right now. Investment should be done at lowest price possible. We are not there yet in my personal opinion.
If we compare the price of Bitcoin has reached this year after it reached ATH, it can be called a good time to buy. Because current price is down 50% from ATH. But it depends on your own decision, as no one can be sure this is the best price to buy. No one can predict what the market will be like. It's all a prediction.

I am following different youtubers, twitter accounts, discord channels, to learn as much I can about crypto as I can.
BUT, is not the correct time to invest? As long as I understand, we are in a bull-run right now, and many do believe that BTC and also ETH will grow. Some belive BTC will hit 100K and some also think ETH will be up to 10% of BTC total value by end of the year.
- And addition to this, we might see a drop and go in a bear-market, but this seems not to be the case.
I'm also looking into start long trading on buybit, I want to start small and get the hang of it and learn the system and how it works.
SO, back to the actual question: is NOW a good or bad time to begin investing? Or should I wait for a heavy drop in the market, which might not come?

Just make sure that the amount you will investing are the amount you can afford to lose or forget for a while.
depending on your choice. if you choose a low risk coin it's actually very good, but if you choose a coin with the best potential I don't think it's bad. even that is good for investment until the future as long as we are good at managing
There was no low risk coin and even the major coins have the same risk with the low cap coins. You must see that those who have invested in bitcoin already lost a lot from the peak price and the same thing was also happening with shitcoin but the percentage that happened on shitcoin is much more higher compared with the major coin dude. I think that it's better waiting for the dip rather than betting on the unstable market. Even when you are buying at the various price and it will not give you guarantee to get low risk.
No its not, investing on low cap coins is riskier than investing on bigger cap coins. Because the low liquidity on the market makes you have opportunity to lose your investment since its hard to sell ur investment in the future. Moreover, low cap coins is a indicator that the community and the market for its coin not tested enough to be invested.

In the past after bearish trend finish and reverse into bullish , these coins have faster recovery if compared to another altcoin. investors now waiting best price to enter again to market to minimize their risk in this uncertain condition.

Investing in altcoin is like gambling, the bear market is persisting for now, I can wait for the price of coins to dump more before I will invest, this time is not the best time for me, I want to wait if the price of the coins will decrease more. Investing now is not bad though, you can invest, but do not fear during bear market. I am now getting more cautious as btc has dropped below 30k. For me 30k was still the resistance and for long it was able to sustain above it but now breaking 30k and dropping does not show me a comfort sign now. So will pause for a while before the market returns above 30k and gets stabilizes for couple of days and then might buy again.

Thats true we really cant say if the current price is the bottom but during this time wherein majority of coins are declining its a good chance to take advantage it. Thus as long as the coins are experiencing a correction its certainly a time to fill our bags. We cant predict what lies ahead so who knows in the coming days the market will bounce back. Always DYOR before buying then wait for a bullrun before selling, it takes guts and patience because investing has risk.Yes in this current market condition, trading is having a highest risk because the price is so volatile and could go up and down till 10% in just a day. People are moving from alts to alts and if we are not fast enough to swith our trade we would lost. So i think buying for long term investing is really good for now but trading is too risky
Price had already breakout the support level, I think it's confirmed we are in the long winter market. If there is a time to invest, it's when the price is going to hit the bottom hard which could be the $25K, hard time has come. I never thought it will really happen but here we are.
People had converted their funds to USDT but the trouble is that FED is about to regulate stablecoins as well. It does look like we are cornered. Maybe a month or two if it bounces up, I will also convert my altcoins to DAI and wait again to the bottom.
