I'd say now is one hell of a good time to BUY ETH. Just look at the charts and you will see a slow and painful decline that has anything but bottomed out / floored already. There is nowhere else to go but up for this amazing project. My advise is buy the dip now while you can.

Newbie here... I've been thinking about buying my first crypto. I think I want to buy ETH, but wondering if I missed the boat already?

I think some people are betting against Ethereum and these people are very manipulative IMO, it was said that Ethereum is going to $400 and it seems this is going to come to pass, you can try buying at $400 just to minimise your loss if the price go lower than this. Anything is possible in this space

if to buy ETH maybe now the right time. because the current value of ETH is very degenerate. maybe next month will go to the moon again.
Why you are investing to eth, it is just safety place, sometimes I sell my altcoins and buy eth or btc, but it is not investment for me, ethereum growed up very big at 2017 but for next years it can do x2 or x3 I think, I dont expect x10 x20 again.
I think the ETH price is low enough to buy.
Personally, I would not suggest buying. I would rather tell you to join bounties than investing on a single crypto. I don't see any potential or high earnings when related to just buying and holding a crypto. If you join bounties, you earned token, exchange those tokens to crypto, you'll see that it is much faster and much worthy than just buying those cryptos.
Now maximum altcoin price is dump, and also Eth price is dump this time is perfect for buy Eth.
It's under $500 right now. Prices now are right around late November prices. I think it's a great time to buy eth. Its ath was just under $1400 and now 1 eth cost $458. The price has dropped way more than 50%. You're getting a huge discount and I think eth will have a great future. It was $50 1 year ago on 03/27/2017 so who knows what the price will be on 03/27/2019.
It's probably going to fall below <$400 the way things are looking. I think you could get away with waiting a bit more.
If you have coins -you may want to keep the coins that you purchased. Ethereum should get a lot of people using it soon.
