IMO, this is the worst time to invest in Ethereum. The developers have repeatedly missed important timelines and more and more bugs are coming out in the open, which needs to be resolved immediately. And the ICO/IEO markets are showing no signs of life. We need to remember that the Ethereum bull run of 2017 was mostly caused as a result of the ICO hype.
Agree with you, after the ICO died, the price of ETH collapsed right there and until now there is no sign of going back up. I have seen a few predictions saying that if this year ETH 2.0 is updated and the price doesn't go up then surely we will see ETH go below $ 100 and it will not be possible to achieve ATH in the future.

I was reading an article from a blockchain and crypto market expert i do not have the link to the article right now but according to the author Eth under 500 will remain best investment opportunity because new Eth high will be huge so it is the best time to get in and i totally agree with his point of view, we are getting a chance to get eth at around 150 which is really a good entry for massive gains.
The current price of Eth is still best to purchase it is still below $200. I think this year there is an increase price to happen on this coin. And hope with this upgrade to occur we will see Eth a change on it's value. Bitcoin just had a bit of a bull run, and from that I think that ETH could follow up in any time now. Its 2.0 should launch around this year now from what I've read recently as from the devs.

I still think even now is still a good time to invest in Ethereum, will give a good profit on next bull run and if hold for long, anyway better choose soon to invest and not buy when see price go up and up, most of people on crypto lose money because they buy when price goes up and panic sell when they see price drop.

Over the past few years I've seen investors make money by investing in any project. It was the golden age of ICOs. Many people have made big money by investing in some good projects. but instead of buying ico. why don't they buy Ethereum or bitcoin. ETH is a very sophisticated and promising coin that has its own blockchain and many coins developed on the ETH blockchain

What is the current timeline for 2.0? I haven't kept track, but assumed it was on pace for January-ish next year, at least for the initial phase. Has it been delayed until later next year? I know overall this will take a couple of years to complete, assuming it goes to plan, but what reason was given for the most recent delay?

Well, getting into Ethereum is surely a great idea ever since because among the existing Altcoins in the market, we can hereby claim that Ethereum is the well-known alternative coin which is next to the main crypto of all which is Bitcoin. Since there is a new version with improvements, I am pretty sure that getting into Ethereum as of the moment will surely be a great pleasure since Ethereum was really a promising alt.
