Ethereum price has dropped significantly since January 2018 and it is still top 2 cryptocurrency, so I consider ETH a good investment.
For me when Ethereum 2.0 is finished and all problem has been resolved Ethereum will have a new fresh platform. But this is not a reason for the price increase as their biggest problem is that their smart contract has to regulate developers who use and create token tokens, as it is used to create fake ICOs.

What you are saying doesn't make sense. Ethereum is not an ICO currency but that was a native coin that was having value to be used by the ico to raise the funds caused by ethereum has a very good liquidity compared with another coin. Ethereum will still remain at this position consider about the fact that there was no a lot of movements especially the fundamental of ether seems not good to attract the bulltrend to come. Agree, I think so too, now is the right time to buy Ethereum before releasing the latest version. considering about 5 months ago precisely in July ethereum was around $320 and should version 2.0 have to have high liquidity, it is likely to exceed the price of $ 300 after the release of the latest version. but this is only a prediction, it could be that Bitcoin (the main source) does not support it.

I'm holding a bulk of ETH, but I'm perturbed about a point you mentioned here that ETH price quickly drops with any slight market dip. That's true and I'm hoping things get better in future. I keep accumulating ETH hoping the launch of ETH 2.0 brings goodnews and also hoping to participate in staking. I noticed nowadays that some very good new start-ups do not necessarily launch ERC20 tokens as back in the days of ICO, they launch their own blockchain hence adding more competitors to Ethereum. I really hope aside the staking for ETH 2.0 , there will be improvement in the overall Ethereum blockchain infrastructure. For me everytime the price is declining thats the good time to buy eth, the price is cheap compared to previous year. Hoping the 2.0 version will became successful because its a good opportunity for us who hold eth.

we will not know for sure. but seeing that there will be an update that will be done in the next year we should be at the right time to get ethereum in large quantities. this if there is no decline in the market again or the effect of a decrease in bitcoin that makes the market weak. if that doesn't happen I'm sure ethereum will soon strengthen.

When the market is not going well then everything has an impact on own issue, Ethereum is always a good coin in this cryptocurrency system, after Bitcoin, I always prefer Ethereum to any other crypto, but this time you should not take any decision because of the market, but for the longer version investment, It would be a good decision for anyone, not only that but also Ethereum will play an important role in the future because of having a lot of potential within this upgraded version, so wait for another day and click in the right time.

Ethereum no doubt is the most undervalued coin at the moment. Keeping in view the current bearish market trend I think ethereum will further come down. If you are looking for long term investment buying ethereum at the current price of 155 USD is not bad as it involves minimum risk of loss.
For the hacking incident happened on upbit I will be cautious to buy these days since provably it could lead for another dump since provably it can create panic to the people since for sure they will worried on the current are t state of the ethereum. But hopefully it will not affect so that we will not see any bad impression since we are almost at year 2020 and we would provably see a good things happened if there's no bad scenarios will block it's way.
why would they panic if they arent the ones that get hacked ? panic because they think that hackers will sell what they got? no its not easy for them to sell it instantly because right now authorities are now tracking them tracking thier wallet if it will leave a trace and if ever there are huge activity or shady activity goin on in other exchanges people will always suspect and link it to the hackers . this is why i dont think that this hacking can cause an imediate dump . eth in the other hand isnt the only coin that is affected with it but eth today is still cheap and its still best buy .
