The stupidity on this forum is sad, $150 for ripple ffs, why has no one corrected this garbage?

Ripple:
Cap: $52,250,968,432
Price: $1.35

Bitcoin:
Cap: $191,026,895,062

Now, $150 you say, let's take a look at the result if this happened
Cap: $5,805,663,159,111

Now, let's look at the ENTIRE MARKET CAP of all coins combined, currently:
Total Market Cap: $556,530,119,035

You are expecting Ripple to reach 10x the price of the ENTIRE crypto market cap, 30x the price of Bitcoin.
At the moment with it's current price in a day and age where people still have not realised how garbage this coin is, if it continues to move with the total cap, the total cap would have to hit $61,836,679,892,777, 62 TRILLION dollars.

Now let's look at this:

Quote
2016, global GDP amounted to about 75.4 trillion U.S. dollars. Gross domestic product. Gross domestic product, also known as GDP, is the accumulated value of all finished goods and services produced in a country, often measured annually

I think your math teacher was bad, and your logic teacher was even worse

Of course, many things can happen, thats why I diversed million $ that Ripple gave me on $3000 investment into more coins, so now I only
have 30% my portfolio in Ripple (but I'd advise everyone to diverse, anyway, no matter how much you believe in some coin)

Maybe start with reading the whole thread, I allready pointed out that the calculation for reaching a price like USD 150,- would be pretty rediculous.

What is the best coin to buy now. Vote here.

I do not think that the ripple is potential crypto, as its current exchange rate has dropped by more than 60% compared to its peak. Moreover, if you have to choose the investment crypto, then I will select Ethereum to invest instead of Ripple because, in the future, Ripple will not be potential, it goes against the development of digital currency.

Well if you are looking for a return on your investment for short period of time then you should go ahead and invest on it, but regarding the best alternate not quite sure because the effect of it's is on and off, usually it would go up but after a while it will fall down again, clearly it's not suitable for a long-term investments.

Not sure. I have a ripple in my portfolio, but I do not expect much from him. The maximum - will grow 2-3 times. There are many other coins that should grow this year much more.

Ever since i read the news about ripple having a lawsuit by a certain bank ive lost faith in it. Ive sold my ripple thinking that the company would eventually go down and my coin will drop in its value. For me ripple is not one of the best option to have as it may drop its price in the following months.
Just my opinion but if you want to go further with ripple then better read some online articles about them and how things are going with the lawsuit.

I don't think XRP has very long future. Becuase banks can use RippleNet but don't have to use XRP.
And this is centralized coin not like almost other in this blockchain network.
I buy low for it pump and sell it out

Ripple is centralized coin and its not really good for long term investment.
I dont really interest with ripple in my portofolio but short term investment will be oke i think.
I prefer to invest in etherium than ripple.

From the realistic perspective of Ripple, it would be fair that in 10 years it would reach a 10% share of the global transfers, that is, $ 0.270 quadrillion per year (the fourth part that Swift currently has). Therefore, the market to be reached by Ripple in the near future will be $ 270,000,000,000,000 per year.

To obtain the price of XRP we will have to resort to the formula of Irving Fischer of 1911 on the speed of money:

MV = PT

In which:

M = Amount of Money

V = Money speed or velocity (number of turns)

P = Price

T = Number of Transactions

If PT is the total amount of transactions per annum, we will replace it with the market share of Ripple, that is, $ 0,270 billiards per year.

Hence:

$ 0,270 quadrillion = MV

If the Monetary Mass is the number of XRP in the market, which is limited to 38,739,142,811 x Price = M

And the average velocity of XRP is V=46 (average last 3 months)

Applied to the formula:

$ 270,000,000,000,000 = 38,739,142,811 x Price x 46

and Clearing the Price, we get the intrinsic value (ceteris paribus) of XRP:

XRP = $ 151.51

Of course, all this depends IF and HOW FAST will Ripple take 10% market

Analysis is not mine, credit goes to:

Ripple will reach $10 this year, and $150 long term

It would need 30x the current marketcap of Bitcoin to reach $150,- that would be around 5,85 trillion, which would be 10x the volume of the whole crypto market atm. Do you really think thats realistic?

Yes, but on 5+ years long run, if they manage to take away big chunk of SWIFT business

Nope, if you support cryptocurrency and free markets, dont support centralized proyects from banks like Ripple... Wink

Ripple is a bank? Can you give us link where you found that information?

How do you know that? Just a speculation? Is there any new news about Ripple?
I can not see any reason to be $ 150. Please tell us your reasons.

Ripple can never reach the mark which the other currencies like ltc, btc, eth etc have reached. It's not even decentralized.
Wouldn't suggest ripple for long term.

I believe this is the most overrated coin in the market , obviously not the best coin to invest for long term , it's centralized of course and has a huge supply so I think his price is very overrated , the thing that he reached 3 $ for some time is just crazy and I believe his price should be not more than 10 cents , my opinion dude stay away of it , bitcoin is the best investment and should be the best for a long way .

Yes, I understand your reasoning. I also do not want to get stuck in a long time / long-term investment. If xrp is already pump, then i ready to sell. Not wanting to take risks and I still doubt the future of ripple.
