if XRP become new global currency then I do not think investors will have control over the coin because XRP is not decentralized but centralized which means holder of the coin do not have control over their XRP and can be taking away from them or it can even be ban. i think the reason for major pump xrp is witness is as a result of larger holders of crypto investing in the coin which then prompt many people to also invest. nowaday i begin to wonder maybe the price of the altcoin is being manipulated.

Ripple is going to become more strong currency since its backed by big MNC banks. It is the only coin which is being backed by so many banks all together. We have just not even seen the tip of iceberg of this coin. 2018 will going to make the news because of ripple if things go smooth and more banks join and back this currency.

Ripple seemed to be great investment in 2017 so congratulation those who bought and sold this altcoin. I personally didn't invest because of centralized issue but it seems as bad decision. Due to recently hype in december i will stay away and waiting if ripple go down 70-80% once again then i'll consider my investment to ripple

I think there is a possibility.First, the ripple has total assets of $ 6 billion, equivalent to 3 million BTC, which means it can issue its own currency unit. Second, the token's parent company owns the majority of the token ripple, XRP is the token token, which is different for the BTC and ETH.

I've been in the cryptoworld for quite a long time, but still don't understand why people don't like Ripple.
People need to start seeing Ripple from a different perspective and not from the Centralized angle. If Ripple is a coin that gives profit and has proven to be capable, then how is it a shitcoin? It's a stable coin less volatile than other altcoins, its got tech that's being used right now, unlike some other coins that are actually rubbish.
