Well in my opinion Russia may or may not support Philippines. Well if they'll support Philippines I guess they'll do that because there's benefits. I also think that Philippines will not go to war againat China since their military power are far inferior than China and China have more manpower from Philippines.
Russia has no reason to support Philippines against China. China is one of the few friends Russia is having right now.
Being friends doesnt mean that you go in a wrong side when one of your friend is in need. I mean im sure russia is not a shit to go to war together with china and let the entire world to be destroyed just because them and china are friends knowing that china is being greedy and uses force and militiry capability to take advantage against smaller countries. China is not respecting asean and also the international law which im quite sure russia is in opposite. Today is not like the past where war was superior everyone has learned for every consequences the war can give.
If my friend since birth is at war with his enemy because he knocked this guy down without reason i will stop them fighting but not going to any sides.
