What makes you think that Satoshi Nakamoto is about to show up? If it is only about the amount of the limited supply, I don't see any relation between it and Satoshi actually. And I think that there is no way we will be finding out who Satoshi is for real. It's been 12 years since Bitcoin was released in the cryptocurrency market. We would already know who Satoshi is in this huge period of time.

Have you ever thought whether Satoshi is still alive? when he is dead there is no way he will appear. one more thing is the name Satoshi Nakamoto a person's name or is it the name of a group? until now there is no answer, for sure it's a mystery that will not be solved.
I believe no matter what Satoshi represents either a group or an individual what ever Satoshi represents his anonymous identify is of great importance to the decentralized nature of Bitcoin showing up isn't necessary charities could get the free donation without meeting with Satoshi in reality it's even better done anonymous. After all we all are benefiting from the Bitcoin without knowing who is really behind the mask of Satoshi Nakamoto

Hearing the latest news that bitcoin owned by Satosi is no longer accessible because he lost access to his wallet. It can be said that the bitcoin held by satoshi has been burned and satoshi now no longer owns bitcoin even one.
Many have speculated that Satoshi Nakamoto has damaged his Bitcoin wallet. And the total amount of bitcoin left in his account Has been reduced from supply. As a result, Satoshi Nakamoto will not have any problem in front of people's eyes.

That's a baseless argument that Satoshi Nakamoto did not come in front of public because he hold one million bitcoin and now that he has lost that access, he can safely come in public.
I think he is not alive otherwise there is no reason from him to hide himself when everyone loves him.

Satoshi never left. Still among us, lurking and posting on this board, a normal human watching the dream he dreamt become reality. Maybe he trades a little. A line of code here and there. Still changing the world. BTC

Now would be the worst time for Satoshi to show up, even in any other timelines, the revelation of Satoshi's identity will always result in something disastrous. The reason why I believe it's going to be disastrous is because people see Satoshi as a hero and what happens when it's revealed who he is and people have a high standard for a hero? They're going to be disappointed.

If the satoshi is still alive and he is about to reactivate his wallet then you will see the bitcoin price drop fast and people will not wait for him to start selling it. But are you sure he would do that to this community that has so much faith in bitcoin?

I can never believe he is dead because I can trust myself to assume he is still alive and will continue to monitor the progress of his bitcoin until tomorrow and will no longer activate his wallet which has been monitored by dozens of site and hundreds of others just to be alert. There are quite a number of bitcoin wallet that store thousand of bitcoin without knowing who owns it, would you believe satoshi has another scenario and let the 1 million bitcoin he knows to be marked as deactivated and just enjoy the proceeds of hundred to thousands of other bitcoin in another wallet?

There is no way that Satoshi revealed their identities. I don't know why they didn't reveal it in the first place but there must be a good reason that I believe. Maybe something really terrible will happen after Satoshi reveals their identities. So I'm sure that Nakamoto satoshi will never reveal their identities to you, and forever. will only be those who hide him. Because if he shows up, the BTC he created with decentralized value will no longer have any meaning.

Identity reveal doesn't mean bitcoin posession become centralized or it's owned by the satoshi itself. It's just revealed to the world who is created this great system and people should honored him (if he is really a one man).
But i'm agree if they won't show up and keep his identity secretly because that is the unique value of crypto, made by unknown. That will make investors feel more interest and keep investing on this blockchain crypto.

We dont even know if he's still alive or satoshi is a single person or a group of people. So no one really knows about showing up because this is something that remains to be mysterious after all these years.
Satoshi is a single person and once he published the whitepaper and after launching the first version of BTCitcoin many OG helped him in improving the software. The idea that he was a group is just bull shit, Satoshi did register the initial websites including the first SMF forum in the old domain and once he left, he handed over everything to Gavin Andresen and other users here. If it was a group they would have continued handling everything rather than giving everything to the users who were active here.

I doubt the guy will ever want the world to know who he is.

He's not interested in fame, recognition, or any of the glitz and the glam of his brainchild created. He only wanted a system wherein everyone can participate in the economy without having the need to open a bank account. He's just in it for the experiment, and seeing it becoming successful, he's okay with it. No matter how much price bitcoin reaches, he'll just work or watch in the sidelines and not get himself in the heat of the action.

The dude has been upholding anonymity to the next level, and perhaps we should just let him be.

How we all know what's the reality or truth of shatoshi's show up. I don't think the person whom we never met could not be judgmental. Yes I appreciate what he does for bitcoin and people trust Bitcoin.
The  search isnt over and even up to these years people do still continue to find on whose satoshi really is and we do have lots of wannabes that had existed already in the market but cant show off enough proofs.

We dont even know if he's still alive or satoshi is a single person or a group of people. So no one really knows about showing up because this is something that remains to be mysterious after all these years.

Lets just wait with our life time on when that would happen and also dont expect about charitable works to be done. Cool

Some people speculate Satoshi Nakamoto is a group of individuals, but I believe there is only one man behind the pseudonym. Anything involving money can't work so well like bitcoin is doing if there are more people involved because people have different personalities that will not match among themselves on long run. People are vain, greedy, ambitious and at some point bitcoin would be damaged if there were more than one "Satoshi Nakamoto".
I think we will never know the true identity, it being an individual or a group. Imagine going public an announcing that you are indeed Satoshi with proof. The guy/girl/group will be dead within 24 hours as a lot of very influental people are pissed because of crypto.

All these rumours but never was something true, and I think it's inevitable that in this forum, topics like this will ever stop, I appreciate the amount of curiosity you guys have but the sad thing is Satoshi will never show up, esp. as Bitcoin continues to grow, it will be too controversial if he does show up, In my opinion, Satoshi wants to live a life without the spotlight, so I'm pretty sure that person will never show up.

satoshi will not appear, satoshi is not a fool who wants to reveal his identity to the public when he is the one who creates currency that threatens traditional banks.  The worst-case scenario that might happen when Satoshi actually reveals his identity is a huge threat to his life and that of his family that's the reason he/she prefers to remain anonymous forever.
The name Sathosi until now is still a mystery that has not been disclosed to the public. What I found was only someone an opinion that showed who Sathosi was, with the reasons and evidence that opinion he had found. Possibly in Cryptocurrencies it really needs to be hidden for security. And for the future the name sathosi i think it will still be a mystery in the world of cryptocurrencies

Satoshi Nakamoto probably will not appear. His or their appearance will not only affect the unique product of btc, but also all the cryptocurrencies on the blockchain will be affected. At least it seems that this is the case now. The Satoshi Nakamoto account When a transaction or transfer occurs on the btc, I think most of the giant whales will sell their cryptocurrency as soon as possible to ensure that their funds are not affected. This is often a speed contest!

Satoshi might not even be one person so it's probably an unlikely thing that he will show up because there's probably one that represents them and another group that does the dirty work. Also, it's unlikely that he will donate to a charity because there's no good charity out there that's really helping the people that they're promised to help.

I do not think Satoshi will show up to the public after disappearing a long time ago because he is busy working on his other project.
Hiding a long time doesn't mean that no chance for him to appear. But he must be aware of the negative impacts on the Bitcoin industry if he decides to appear. He also knows the government may try to catch him if his location is detected. I think these are the possible reasons why he won't appear, not about being busy on another project. Anyway, how do you know he is busy working on other projects now? You act like you are his close friend.  Grin
If I were him, I would not show up as Satoshi but use the other identity unrelated to Satoshi because the situation is different from the first time he announced bitcoin. Usually, after he introduces his work to other people and trusts some people to continue with what he's done, he will do something else that will be more challenging and different from what he did before. So that is what I guess for what happened to Satoshi and I do not think that Satoshi is just one person because that will need very good skills in programming. But we never know the truth Grin

Yes, I knew Satoshi. Even you knew Satoshi and most people here knew him/her/them. He invented bitcoin and introduced it to us. The rest we just do not know Grin

Satoshi has reportedly been selling all of his bitcoins for a long time. Because if satoshi kept bitcoin so many bitcoins wouldn't be at the current price. Therefore, bitcoin is not yet fully decentralized. Some news also said, Satoshi lost access to his wallet so he lost all the bitcoins he owned.
