I think something is really going on with Poloniex. I'm seeing a flood of complains about them. They should at least have a good support staff to answer all the inquiries of their customers. But unfortunately, we are not seeing this from them. Maybe they are really preparing for the Aug 1 that' whey they tend to not care about the issues that their customers is facing. Good thing I was to stay away from them and moved to other trading platforms.

Definitely something not right with them, cannot log a support ticket on their site. Poor support and feedback from them and api integration seems to be having issues too many wrong things and writing is on the wall.

There are theories that polo is having liqudiity issues, and trying to cover things up by getting rid of the trollbox etc.
You're saying they closed the trollbox because "the mods knew there was something wrong and they might warn us"? That's idiotic. Even without the trollbox, there are sooo many ways for those mods to get a message out, bitcointalk for example, or twitter. If any of this FUD were true, we would have heard from one of them by now.

Another FUD thread. Either that or someone who's completely new to crypto and doesn't read Polo's notices section. I don't have any problems whatsoever trading and withdrawing on Polo.

The problem in poloniex is there withdrawal issues because if is in "Awaiting Approval" it will takes so long to delivered in the address that you want to send your bitcoin

But they are pretty fast on accepting the bitcoins, there is no delay but when withdrawing they require lots of time and sometimes and to verify the account which sucks.

OP, poloniex is overloaded with requests and their website loads very low and when I try to make sell and buy orders it is very slowly, sometimes you can not catch the best rate because of this delay.

Exactly, that's whats happening at the moment and why so many people are pissed off. A lot of trades aren't being executed on time because of the "lagginess" due to apparent Ddos attacks on the poloniex website.

There are theories that polo is having liqudiity issues, and trying to cover things up by getting rid of the trollbox etc. Personally I haven't had issues with withdrawals, at least yet. But others have, and seems to be ignored rudely by support staff.

Bottom line is - don't use it for trading for now, and withdraw all assets you currently hold if you can from poloniex.

I've been waiting a week so far to withdraw funds. Still "Awaiting Approval". WTF!? Thought by getting into crypto I would have more control over my funds not less.

Is anyone having problems with Poloniex? They seem to be having some kind of technical issues on their site and their chat box is down too. I hope it is just a minor issue that will be fixed quickly.

Haven't had any serious issues with them since i started using them. The kind of issues you have listed are pretty common and not serious (doesn't affect the sites security)

I agree, their withdrawal takes so much time. What's going on with Poloniex lately. I can't see some of the graphs too but probably it's just because of my wifi.

No problem on my end too.
trading, withdrawing eth were a breeze.
Polo crashes only when market goes crazy like the previous xrp and eth pumps.

OT:Poloniex should be a billion dollar company with tons of transactions every single day 24/7  Grin

There is indeed something wrong, in fact a lot is wrong with their site at the moment.

For one, they are not responding to any sort of support request. At least all I can hear on this forum and crypto oriented skype chats is that their support requests are just getting ignored even though poloniex continues to update the situation in the notice board.

Secondly, trollbox was intentionally taken down. This isn't a good sign at all - they don't want visitors to be able to see the problems that they're experiencing. No support crew, selectively scamming users, trollbox taking down. That's what poloniex's situation right now is. It sounds an awful lot to me like Cryptsy and Mt Gox, Bitcoinica as well....

as long as these exchanges are not regulated and also as long as people continue pouring their money into their pockets in a desperate attempt to make profit from trading altcoins on the "biggest" exchange, they will continue to treat their users like shit! they don't care if 10, 100, or even more users are not satisfied, there is always more money coming to them.

i remember they used to be kind and respectful of their users a couple of years back when they were a small exchange and cryptsy was still around. but slowly they became big and stopped caring about customers!

You will need to visit the site poloniex again as I see no problem with it. It might be when you visited they are having down time on chat box but I believe it has been fix. Op, you also need to be patient with poloniex as many traders visit this site every for trading and any negative comments here affect those traders technically.

Nope I don't think there are issues with Poloniex today but I've noticed if my internet is acting up, the same thing goes for Poloniex website and the trollbox has been disabled for quite sometime now, though I've read a thread here saying they might be creating a separate website for trollbox.
