Lots of people only waiting to dump btc when it gets close to 10k, it will be a very hard oobstacle to overcome short term. We can easily expect a further drop for all the crypto market as BTC is starting to look exhausted again and it seem to turn bearish again. Obviously big picture is pretty great if we are talking about corrections that people talk about like 2-4k as the bottom as it is a very big % of current value and we are not far away from the real bottom and next cycle.

Two years ago, it was a very bad time for the market and all the coins I knew dropped in price, which made the profits of investors drop very quickly. I think this year will be different and everyone will have more confidence in investing because the market is starting to improve and more investment opportunities will come to everyone. The cryptocurrency market is volatile by nature and its very difficult to give assurance concerning the right time for Long term investment. I personally don't see the industry to be a hub for long term investment as its more lucrative to trade and take advantage of price swings in the market. Long term investment should be channelled to other industries like the real estate.

I think market confidence is improving, which as we all know is a key factor in price, given that so much of crypto is based on expectation of future utility of the coins rather than actual current utility. The mega rise of 2017 and the subsequent bear cast long shadows, and I think we are only just starting to get out of that now. We had the partial recovery after the bear, and confidence has been slipping slightly since then. Now we are starting to see signs of an upturn, which for me is encouraging.
