The main purpose of gambling is entertainment and to earn money but sad to say not everyone wins so many of us losses every day. But if you lose there is someone that wins and you are making someone happy. And gambling is not always to make more money sometimes it will drain your money with nothing left and it is not fun at all if you don't have a lot of money to bet. Just bet what you can afford to lose.
Yes, it gonna be because of money, winning the jackpot prize and that is why people will risk and spend time in gambling.
Some saying that they are just having fun, yes it can be but what we could feel if we are about to lose our money? It surely we are disappointed. But if we are about to win the jackpot prize, that will be of great happiness for them.

I am afraid gambling doesn't really have a "main purpose". Not everything in life you do should or could have a main purpose, sometimes you do something because you just want to do it and that's the end of it. Some people play for money, some people play for fun, some people play because their bored, some people play because they wonder how it feels.
There are so many reasons to gamble that we can't put all of those under one umbrella, there are many different reasons to gamble and there are many people who gamble. Sure, there must be SOME people whose main purpose of gambling is making more money but that doesn't mean it is true for every single gambler, it is only true for some of them.
I personally don't gamble for money for example but that doesn't also mean that there are not people like that.
It really depends on you because for me ? Gambling is fun. Gambling can bring you so much money yes that is true. i think your statement gambling can bring you so much money is only a case to case basis. not all the time that you can win in gambling. but i do agree with you, that if you are gambling just for entertainment, it will give you so much fun!
gambling was invented not to serve as entertainment only but to grab the prize at the end. so i guess those 2 main actors are the reason why we are in gambling. but if you will always chase to win, i dont think it is fun anymore. ill bet on that!

To start with it's always about making money which is why a few gambler which lose on the early stage tend to exit from it. But once you win some money the beast inside you is unleashed. You suddenly realize that making money was never this easy and you just go crazy for it. It's actually the ecstasy which comes with the feeling of clicking a button which decides your luck as to whether you would earn or lose money. However I feel that no matter what is the winning amount after some while gambler keeps on playing in hope of a win one day which could change his fortune but he doesn't realize that even that one win would not be able to do anything good to him because he really is playing for the thrill that comes while playing. Casinos/Online Casinos is here for a reason, they are here to make money from the gamblers who are also wants to earn more thru gambling. You have to think for the best reason why you are playing and if you’re not satisfied then you can stop playing.
For short, it's a risky business where the winnings are always in the house. So if you're thinking that casinos are made for us, partly yes for entertainment but mainly not.The one who really benefits in this game is the owners of the casinos. We, players, are those who feed them when we're losing. There should be always a reason for us to continue in gambling, if it's for the entertaining yourself then it's not bad as long as you have the money to spend on those. If there's no allocated money on that kind of satisfaction then please don't waste your money.

Let us not be hypocrites here and say we are doing it for fun, there are times when we play, we feel this urge to continue not because we are having fun but because we feel something big is coming and its on our favor thats why we continue. But that is fun, to chase that big thing that waits for you. I know exactly about what you are talking about, its the moment when you think that big win is just around the corner and you need to play a bit more and if possible to rise bets. We gamble cause money is involved, of course we like to win more then we like to lose, but in gambling both are part of the game, you cant win all the time, or lose all the time, but you can have fun while you play. Deep inside we all like to make money, its normal, nobody like to lose, but when you gambling you need to be aware of the fact that you can lose everything in seconds.

In my own personal opinion, the main purpose ofngambling is to give entertainment and leisure time, but for others they think gambling is for an easy way to earn money. My reason why i am here in gambling because i enjoy gambling on how i earn money with it and it gives me entertainment at the same time, but if i don't have no time to waste i think you shouldn't be gambling and focus on the things that i need to do.Do you believe we are here for a reason?

Well gambling is indeed an easy way to earn money but that depends on your luck because if you are lucky then gambling is a good way to get big returns but if your not then gambling isn't the best thing for you. For me, gambling is only good for entertainment and leisure time and winning is just a plus just to make gamblers excited when they play.

I don't think that you can use gambling to make money, it is difficult to do that. You should think twice about that, and if then you can use gambling for fun, that will be better because you can enjoy the games. But you should remember that you must control your money over gambling because if you can not do that, you can lose all of your money in any second.

For me now the main purpose of gambling is to make more money but I got introduced to gambling for the fun associated with it. Also, I played for few months just cos I liked the game (Especially card games) and all the tactics associated with it. Though now, it is just to get monetary benefit out of it.
Be cautious just in order to make more money you do not end up losing more money beacuse it is quite possible that you may win little but your greed to make more you end up playing more and that can take ur money as longer you play more chances of losing increases .
