I hope we have the reason to hold them and I hope that we are holding the right coins but seem to know that meme coins aren't good enough to risk long and hold long. I know that not all are bad and worthless coins in general coz there are still some that performing so well. However, if we don't make any searches and choose the wrong coins, I don't think so but rather have nothing to expect from them.
People got amazed at Dogecoin in the past few day's performances and now, Shiba Inu is on the spike. If this is your basis why do you have a plan to hold them, that was your choice, because for me, as long as it has a working product and market use that is fine.

I would rather hold top potential coins than meme coins simply because what we need is assurance. We all know that meme coins don't have a specific purpose but are just carried by the hype so we don't know how long they would last or until when they could survive as a coin. It would be better to hold good coins which are proven and tested profitable through long-term holding.

Investing with meme is one way to get some good benefits while waiting for their solid bag holds to pump high.

It's a matter of how well you organize your trade, not just by following the hypes but more on timing and how you trust your own assessment,

Not worthy if you don't have the right knowledge, but good enough if you can ride with the train accordingly! Wink

Meme project is a two direction investment, earn or lose will depend on how investors will place their respective entry and exit position.

What's your reason for still holding the meme coin in your wallet, and when do you intend selling it all off to buy a more purposeful coin or token. Are you holding just because of the hype, or do you have any analysis be it technical or fundamental technique that is giving you a go ahead signal to hold more or the hype is doing the work for you.

The simplest reason of buying and holding any coin is to make profit and we do make it in trading meme coins too when they are in hype which happens once in a while  technically  meme coins are side ways  most of the time or in accumulation zone but break out happen during Alts Bull Run. Fundamentally all meme coins are not strong because their use case is weak  with some exception for Shiba Inu, its team building shiba DeFi, swap and NFT platform to build it use case..

Regarding meme coins, I have absolutely no intention of holding onto them, but if the meme coins have a price and can be sold, then I sell them immediately because for me holding the meme coins for a long time will also be of no use. Despite the hype and other things.

Memecoins and "fundamental technique"? Seriously?  Smiley

This tactics and analysis are applicable only to some most famous memecoins, like DOGE, SHIBA, FLOKI... But it's very hard to analyze their behaviour. It's more like gambling.

Meme coins like FEG, Doge and SHIBA all have good fundamentals, some meme coins now have built strong fundamentals like SHIBA, I'm looking forward to the blockchain they call Shibarium, there we can see the rise of these coins after the blockchain is completely really can be used

I dont have any memes coins right now I sell them early than to hold it for long time, Meme coins are good for holding for a long time but we cannot sure if they will go down early. Just like some of meme coins that I invested in the other month I did not expect they are gone one by one and becoming dead until now so we need to careful and make some plan about that.

The coin that is trending in the market now, the market will go up because the one who is performing well in front of everyone will be valued by everyone, the value of the jar will increase in the market.  Shib and Doge are currently in the spotlight.  Memes Coin will be the next Shib and Doge coin that will be able to increase its importance by its performance.

Of course it's still worth it, coin memes like DOGE and Shiba Inu are ranked 10 and 11, with a total market cap of meme coins currently more than $100 billion, there's always a chance to get big profits if we invest meme coins, maybe many people say coins are useless, but a fact in the market meme coins are actively traded.
Yes, people's mouths always act faster than their brains, so sometimes what is said and lamented on social media as well as spreading emotions will not coincide with their current activities, I am also one of those who like to rate and criticize meme coin but behind the words that are only superficial like that, I myself am very jealous of those who have invested in dogecoin and Shiba Inu. There is no useless concept and this is what is proven in the world of economics and investing, the value assessed here is magical, intrinsic cannot define value and vice versa

in my wallet i have some coin memes which i hold till now.
why do i still have it? that's because the coins I have profit from the meme coins, the initial capital I use to buy meme coins
I have taken profit, I still hold the rest on the meme coin, who knows in the future this meme coin will rise again and form a new ATH. but if it goes down I have nothing to lose
because I have taken profit and capital, all I hold is the rest of my profit on the meme coin.
Well, it's actually okay to hold the meme coin for a long period of time, and expect the price to get really high. well, the real example is dogecoin. it provides a huge advantage for those who still continue to hold it.
just don't ever focus on investing in meme coin because as far as i know, there is no real function of the token and chances are it is a bubble. it will be very risky if you use your main money and focus on it. If you want to invest in the long term, you should use the money you are prepared to lose

some people are using that strategy but i dont think that wise holding memecoin for long term 1 year++
if you are talking about dogecoin or shiba maybe there is more chance to survive in the long run.

as far as i know only dogecoin survive many cycle, the others just go to zero but that's up to you if you want to speculate. your money your right

I think people who keep a lot of meme coins in their wallets will surely sell them when it's hype, and that's only for meme coins that are listed on many exchanges. then what other reason if not selling it when the price is high???
Well, I think for people who still have meme coins in their wallets, it's very good, meaning being able to be patient waiting for the hype to happen with their assets.

Saving meme coins I think is already a healthy way to invest, but to tell the truth in my personal criteria I do not trust any meme coin, the clear example is with Doge, whose greatest godfather is Elon Musk, and so much that he made a great publicity for Doge who spoke badly about BTC and what he achieved was that the market got disordered and that Doge fell even more in price and not satisfied with it Elon Musk earned the scorn of many crypto investors who clearly believed in him and his criterion.

You asked this question about a week ago but today I am answering you that if you want to take a risk in this industry you can earn and according to the current trend meme coin gives us that opportunity so you take a risk on a good meme project. This is the easiest thing you can invest.

The market hasn’t been in a favorable condition for the meme coins any longer. Most of them have been going down, maybe that’s because there isn’t much hype for them. Among the two top meme coins in the market, Shiba Inu seems like it would keep going up for now, plus the market has been on the positive side.

But that hasn’t been the case for Dogecoin, it has been on the very low end and doesn't seem like it's going to increase to reach its last all time high price. So for now I am not holding any meme coin and have no plans to buy any for now, I would prefer to go with better coins then investing in any of these meme coins as of right now.

But have to answer the question first...are they are worthy also? It seems that gonna be wrong and definitely, not ideal coins to hold. If that we have the plan to invest and hold either short-term or long-term, we'd rather choose those that have been proven already.

Well, I'm not totally saying that meme coins are worthless, there are some that have a market value and use case. In fact, Doge and Shiba are in the market rally giving a good profit to its investors but can't just expect that it stays like that forever.

It is a high-risk choice but if you have the guts and such trust, then it's up to you. But only I could say is that never spend a lot on this.

I don’t have such free funds so that I can buy meaningless meme coins instead of buying coins of higher quality projects. In my opinion, investing in meme coins we can only hope for blind chance.
