But it doesnt make much sense to add a T because the abbreviation reads a bit like the word itself. An abbreviation should shorten a word. So adding signs because it makes the abbreviation sound like the word is somewhat contradicting.
Abbreviations mostly are only formed by the beginning letters of the part words in a word Bit-Coin-Talk. Only if the abbreviation is somewhat hard to say or when it should be brandable, then abbreviations for organisations and so on might have added letters that stand somewhere in the word in between.
