I've always used BCT to refer to these forums.

However, is not forum owner - aka theymos - task to say what bitcointalk.org abbreviation should be used?
You can use whatever you want...
I almost always call this site "the forum", "the Bitcoin Forum", or "bitcointalk.org" (spelled out completely). I very rarely call it just "BitcoinTalk," so any abbreviation of that name isn't natural to me. I don't see where people get BTT from, though.

I always use BTCT. Why? Because it's BitcoinTalk, BTC + T == BTCT.
+1. IMHO, OP proposed abbreviation are very confusing. However, is not forum owner - aka theymos - task to say what bitcointalk.org abbreviation should be used?

I prefer to use BCT or BTCT over that BTT. Why does it matter anyway? Not a big deal i think

I prefer to use BCT. but some people also use BTCT. edit: look up 
actually why don't we just use Bitalk instead? it's simpler and easier to pronounce. the only site with that name is in russian

Well, I already saw some people calling this onyl BT(BitcoinTalk), which is the best IMO.
And the section is wrong, this should be on meta.

I personally like BTT better, it is somehow easier to pronounce or something. Though I don't mind BCT either

i personally dont like the abbreviation, for me the best way to call it is his full name, bitcointalk.
but if i have to choose one of them, i will go fot BCT instead of BTT or BTC, BTC made me confuse with our BTC abbreviation

I'd say BCT is the best. BTT makes it look like something bike related... Why is this relevant?

I hoped there would be a voting option in this section, but apparently not to us mere mortal.
During my time in crypto, here and other places, I've seen bitcointalk.org refered to as both BTT and BCT. A tendency I think I noticed is that veterans use BTT more often than newbie.
What is the proper abbreviation for bitcointalk?
Please motivate and, if possible offer data to support your claim.

Long time ago i used BTT, but it's little confused, so now i prefer to BCT, it's more clear.

i prefer BCT, because it remind me more of BTC which is the abbreviation of bitcoin, they are anagram of each other, it sounds more right to me

I always use BCT, but I think we need a custom emoticon to represent the forums just to make things easier. Are there any ascii artists that care to make one?

I don't remember the last time I use the abbreviation, I always mention the full name but if I have to I will use BCT (BitCoinTalk) I don't know why some people would use BTT, I don't think it makes any sense imho.

There is a voting option. You can either add a poll to an existing thread by clicking the "add poll" link on the bottom right hand corner of the thread or create a new thread with a poll by clicking the "post new poll" option rather than the "new topic" option when first creating a thread.
Because the forum is HTTPS, you will not receive any referrer info from clicks! If you want to track forum clicks, put something like "?bct" at the end of your URL, and look for that in your access logs.

Why don't you create poll? But I have to say I use BTT all the time even in Chinese crypto community. When you mention BTT there, every one will know what it stand for!
