From BPIP data, you've only earned just two merit in 150 days. I don't know why you're even worried about this. What's the essence of your topic. By the way, smerit don't expire. That's if at all you've enough to spend but you barely have any now.

You can easily check out the threads mentioned above or you can visit this thread [self-moderated] Report unmerited good posts to Merit Source where you can find some posts to merit and help them whom you find deserving.But your smerits don't expire over time keep in mind that.

Already, you've gotten about 100+ merits from different boards, and you could as well scan through those threads and award some merit to whomever you think made a good effort on their post. As I even looked through the boards that you have mostly made comments on, I see that you have made comments on the India LB, and I think you can still go over to your local board (which is India) and award your Smerit to the quality posters on that board. Common Mahn, don't act like some hypocrite 👺.

The merit system got implemented like 10 hours ago. So expect different kinds of reactions. Either negative or positive, those reactions will add to the improvements of this system.

How about giving incentives to an active member who is always giving his / her sMerits to quality posts. Like +1 Merit for every 50 sMerits given. So a member will not only make quality posts, he / she will also read and give sMerits to those who deserve it.

That will be very difficult to track for moderators. So far as giving Smerits is concerned, there is no point in storing the. It is mentioned that they may be nullified if not used for long term.

Was that account an active account before the passcode got resetted? Cus I haven't been seeing that name around very often.
Maybe OP didn't just wanna seek attention; he also wanted to make publicized the fact that his passcode has been changed, so peeps won't even bother using it against him when they get to realize that for themselves....so he decided to frame a fake story to convince the community beforehand - but, HTF is it even possible to deceive a whole community of gurus like this?...lol

Just go to Beginners and Help where a forum member have a thread about submit your best post and get merit. You can just merit anyone who you deem fit to receive it just like this two threads [Merit] Help posts in local boards that did not receive enough merits and [Merit] Help newbies and those who have a little left to the next rank. Well, you can find more if you will look for it but I think that thread is enough to start in there. There are different forum members who posted there so you can choose who you want to sent it to. I thought it is all about asking where to get merits by submitting the profile link for review to get merits (aim=getting merits instead of giving smerits, title have other meaning if you think about it).

No offense to the Op, but I doubt this is something to create a thread over because you can just be a Nicodemus about this and it's the recipient of the merit that would appreciate your act. This just looks like clout chasing and merit fishing to me..hey, it's just my two cents tho.
It's clear something wasn't right about op post. For Op I want to find out did those that spent their spendable merit's on him made any post whatsoever before spending it on his posts they felt merit worthy?Op should know that good intentions ain't broadcasts it is just rendered without pronouncement except there's a hidden motive behind your act.
I just advise, when next you've S'merit to spend op should learn to do it nicodemusly as @Liliana1304 opined, it's dignified doing it that way instead of publicizing it.

Am sure are have not been that active well on the forum, if not you wouldn't have come here to be asking threads that do merit giveaway, do you actually needs a merit giveaway thread to disburse your smerits, there are boards enough with interesting threads you can just read up from bitcoin discussion board, economics or begginers and help to merit quality post there, also i don't know why you're so eager of letting go your smerits, are you going back to an inactive mode again or what.

I see this as very arrogant as if there are few topics and posts on the forum where you can reward someone without seeming to be doing a favor. When I see such topics, I always want to ask whether your posts for which someone gave you merit are so valuable, and whether are they better than all others?
You won't blame him, though. The next thing he'd go for is applying to be a merit source.. hehehe, that's me going too far, I know.Some of these guys feel they need to instate their importance and give themselves some form of credit as the forum is not giving them that. This act is not arrogant but a childish way to seek attention and I'm not annoyed, I'm just disappointed that he wasn't creative enough.

In this case, you have to apply wisdom, don't just go and dump merits anyhow. I don't see a good reason to merit at other people's requested merit thread, do yours in your own way.If you are reading posts often, you will definitely see quality posts that fit your interests. By this, you can be meriting them regularly as they come your way. It's random that way and it's the best I would suggest. Also, going to sections like trading and speculation and other sections that are often under-merited might be a good idea that will make an impact too.
Lastly, you might also want to open a new thread in the Beginners & Help section (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=39.0) to ask for people to submit their highest-quality posts. It might be 2 of their best posts each to be merited by you. It will be fresh in this case, benefit more accounts and will save you time as well.

You can start by reading through few post on the forum and you can discover and fined some quality post that you can spend your merit on, or better still you can visit the thread of most of the merit source and assist them by meriting a few members that need the merit.
