Here in forum you can see how many users read the post so you depends in that like we can count there then in social site like facebook and twitter i think we can rely in their friends that's why campaign always here want to pay base in this the more friends you have then you have also big reward by that

Still if you going to run or launch new project here better to try here in forum because you can see a lot of legit here not like in different social site

Hi,

I am interested to run signature campaigns for my website/product, but wondering if we can know the stats for such campaigns.
I mean, is there any info about knowing how much traffic its possible to get from signature campaigns?

Lets say 10 high-quality posts per week with my link in signature. How much visitors such campaign would bring?
Any posters here wont able to give a significant numbers or precise things yet there are lots of factors that do affects on how much traffic
you would get.
Signature campaigns doesnt give guarantees that you will succeed but somehow its a worthy thing to be tried by means of marketing.

Possible there is way to track it if you would put a refferal link onto your forum signature code Smiley I never see any campaign with idea like that , would be really nice to see how many participants do you bring in from this forum to project you advertise Smiley I already myself found some projects from other member signatures , thats how i sometimes find projects Smiley

There are no concrete generalized stats, unless you inquire a campaign manager or the advertiser since there are several factors to take into account:
1) Type of service. Gambling might be more appealing than a cleaning service since its BTC Talk after all.
2) Members rank. Famous members (e.g. Loyce or Lauda) would be more effective due to their presence. Not to mention higher ranks enjoy more flexibility in signature designs compared to Juniors/ Members.
3) Campaign slots. How many advertisers you are looking for. More members means more exposure but you have to pay more. Worth it?
4) Posting criteria. How strict is your campaign? Don't post in X, Y and Z subforum? If those have high traffic, you're missing out. Usually aligned to point #1

I don't know if we have that but you can try running to test how good the signature campaign here, but based on projects that do signature campaign here, they have a good success here, in fact, ICO bounty campaign give signature the highest stakes in their campaign, because they know it can deliver traffic and leads.

- There have been products which benefitted from the signature campaigns and others suffered loses with no promotion at all. The high-quality poster hiring will get you initial traffic but can't guarantee any conversion if your product isn't what the crowd needs. Instead, look for a product that fits in your category and see how they have performed with the signature campaigns. The gambling signature campaign doesn't work out for all the gambling sites either and services like Fast-Dice have reported of not being profited by the signature campaign and they had to shut it. If you just want the visitors, go for forum adds instead they are more effective that way. If you want your product to have a long term reputation here, go with the signature campaign.

Well, like shield stated above, you can use google analytics for your web page and it shows the source of the incoming links. In my case, most of the traffic seems to come from Twitter. However, different sites like Reddit tend to be indexed by Google and produces longtime traffic instead of instant traffic. Signature could be something like that and you might miss it if you look at traffic only.

There is no public statistics but you can ask website owners. Usually what they so to know statistics is that they put google analytics code in your website and when starting signature campaign, they put specific link, for example my sig has affiliate link, this way owner can know how much user has come on website from this link (with the help of google analytics) + they can see how much of them have registered from this url.

You pointed out a good point which I think is the basis of marketing and that mind follows the familiar stuff. For example, when you go to the store and find goods that you have not tried from some "some of those goods appear in ads and others unknown" your brain will definitely buy ads one.

There are more than 1000 cryptocurrencies and I do not know the names of more than 20 of them, but some of the coins that appear in the signatures make me more interested in knowledge of it than the rest of other altcoins.

So the promotion depends on the visual concept and therefore the longer the time to show the announcement the longer the number of followers. Not necessarily through an analysis of clicks.

Signature campaigns are more about brand awareness than pay-per-click. It's a way to make your brand be known between those who invest and follow the Bitcoin market. Another aspect is Google. A signature campaign can catapult your website into Google rankings.

Most campaigns that use only the PPC as the metric, appear to quit after a short time.

One thing you also need to realize, is that most campaigns aren't necessarily using signature campaigns to get clicks, they're using it to demonstrate that "Influential people/"trusted" people" are using and promoting their service. (See Chipmixer as a good example of this.)
Completely agree with this. I don't think I ever clicked on a ChipMixer signature - or at least, I don't remember ever doing so. I do remember back when I was a newbie and I wanted to use a mixer for the first time, thinking "I remember all the senior members using ChipMixer", and typed the name in to a search engine and went from there.

Even if you were to use tracker links or similar, that doesn't paint the full picture. People may not be interested in looking at your mixer, casino, exchange, service, etc, at the time they are browsing the forum. What you want is that a day, a week, or a month down the line, when they are thinking "I would like to use x service", they remember yours.

You've seen some good opinions here. Users talking about having tracking links, how nice your design looks, and more.

The biggest thing IMO is having a product that people want. If you're product is shit, then it will not matter.

If you believe you have a good product/service then you need a good manager to get things started.

I'm mobile and out of town or I'd post some links of my services. I'm sure users on the forum would vouch that I run a well maintained campaign.

Once you have chosen a good manager(a good manager is extremely important), your next step is figuring out the rates you want to offer and the ranks of users you are looking to hire. Be sure to pass on any manager that guarantees you a certain number of traffic. Noone can promise any certain amount period. Unless they plan on using a VPN and making new account it's to your website all week.

The higher the rank, the more it will cost you per user. For example a legendary user can earn up to .04btc per week. There are a couple campaigns who pay this amount. Bitsler( a campaign managed by me and I think fortune Jack is close to that amount as well).

Without offering competitive rates, the good posters will not consider leaving current campaigns for yours. Believe me, it makes a difference who is wearing  your advertisement.

Getting a good designer then comes into play and that's where we discuss tracking links and if it's possible. Signatures are only allowed so many characters so tracking links are usually only available for sr member and higher.

Everything plays a part in the success or demise of a campaign.

I'm available for a discussion if needed. You don't have to hire me but I can answer any questions you may have and we can go from there.

It actually depends upon your product and how tempting the advertisement is. Hence it differs from campaign to campaign  and will not give you a clear idea even if some campaign managers happen to give you such data.

If you are worried about getting views, then just make your promotional tool tempting enough highlighting unique features or even better in a professional way by a USP (Unique selling proposition) like Chipmixer has "Mixing reinvented for your privacy" and start your promotion in sections from where you think you would find potential users.

3. On how frequent the people you hire make decent topics/replies, and if they go trending enough or not

Judging from the fact that not every prospective customers of a service really checks out bitcointalk, or get to really sift through tons of pages on topics, as a customer myself of various services, honestly I don't click directly to the ads/signature that appear beneath the post of a person that said something good; I go straight to the user's profile and check their post history in order to see how well the said user understands bitcoin and its other concepts. Idk, perhaps it's just me doing that, but knowing how much traffic this forum gets everyday, placing signatures on users profile is practically the easiest and fastest way to attract potential customers.

4. How appealing and interesting your signature design and service is

This gets me every time. If I see a fancy-looking ad that intrigues me, I immediately click on it and read further regarding the said ad, or the service that the ad promotes. I think it's embedded to the psyche of every person to get fascinated and intrigued by something visually-appealing and mesmerizing.

As for the stats of whether a signature campaign really is successful or not, see how long services keep their campaign to get a better view of how well they are receiving traffic due to the said campaign. I've been on the Chipmixer campaign for almost 2 years now, and still going strong.

Buying goodwill among reputable forum members is often worth much more than simple clicks.

But yeah, it's generally pretty hard to predict how many visitors you'll get from the campaign. You could install tracker links (utm=bitcointalk_signaturecampaign), or something along those lines.

you need have some cleverness to be successful, with the subscription campaigns you can get customers only if your service is something that the members of the forum look for a lot and you also get a reputation. Do you want to promote a casino? because if it were an online casino then you would have good results if you run a signature campaign. casinos, exchange and mixer services are the things that I see to have good results when running a signature campaign, of course these good results also depend on your patience and wisdom in the ANN Thread, the campaign manager and you reputation

Limited in number. Limitless in potential.
IMO managers don't know those statistics not unless if they're using link management platforms such as bitly, goo.gl, and etc. on the signature links. But you could try to ask them.
AFAIR bitsler used goo.gl for stat visits on their signature though it was removed after they changed the signature design.

Or using ?utm_source=bitcointalk will do the work on the link, with the help of google analytics.

Its difficult to get an accurate estimate because not everyone will click on the signature but they will enter it into a google search after being exposed to the brand constantly.  Advertising is important for every business.  Even established companies like Coca-Cola have to spend millions each year or they lose market share to other companies.

It's a very interesting subject and one cloaked in mystery to an extent. You could try asking the established campaign managers but it's possible they themselves don't know. I've seen a lot of toe dipping campaigns give up after a short period of time.

A lot depends on the nature of your business. It seems gambling is by far the most sustainable option. Mixing comes second. After that it used to be ICOs. Pretty much everything else has come and gone which says plenty. You could set up a 1-2 week test campaign to see what happens without much outlay.

There's literally so much factors to take in just to give a number on how much visitors you're going to get.

It depends on:
1. The ranks of the users you're going to "hire"
2. How many users you "hire"
3. On how frequent the people you hire make decent topics/replies, and if they go trending enough or not
4. How appealing and interesting your signature design and service is
