Hi everyone.
Please I have a question to ask I have seen many rules in this forum and I have gone through some but there's one thing I have not seen and that's why I want to ask, is there rules for sending merit as a newbie or any limitation to the number of merit's to send as a newbie.
There is no limitation to the number of merits newbies can send in a month, the only rule that I know is that an account can only send a maximum of 50 merits to a particular account in a month, which is applicable to all members of the forum and not just newbies. On the forum, all ranks are treated equally, and a particular rank is not favored just because the account is of high rank. Also, most newbies don’t really have so much smerit to give out, so I don’t think they will have so much smerit, which will draw attention when given out.

And how can I send merit to someone if I see a good post.
Check the top right corner of every post. You are going to see a place where “merit” is written. Click on it, and you will be provided with a box that will show the amount of merit you want to send. Type the amount in the box, then click on send.

No matter your rank, you can send merits to other members if you have the smerits. From your merit history, you have received 7merits which means you have at least 2smerits you can send. Just click on the merit button on the users post as shown in the image below

You are not allowed to send merits to your alt accounts neither should you sell or buy merits. If caught, your account and the accounts connected to the offense will be given negative tags.

I'm curious to know I don't want to make any mistakes or break any rules.
Nothing is actually holding you, just earn your merit and be discreet with especially when you are sending it out just don't merit useless post or alternative accounts of yours and also remember merits are to be given to post and replies that actually deserves these merits and not shit posts. If I were you I would focus on actually developing myself in terms of the knowledge that I have learnt from this community.

@OP there are no rules, you can send to any user and any amount you want, but the maximum is 50 Merits.
The maximum amount is 50 merit for one merit transaction and for total amount of merit transaction between 2 users. This cap is applied for merit sources too, and one merit source can not send more than 50 merit to one user (like a newbie) in 30 days.

In a summary, merit cap is:

50 merit in 30 days for one user.
50 merit for one transaction.

I'm not lying, the forum clearly don't have any rules about merit sending, so don't listen with the other posts. So, don't limit yourself, do anything that you want since it's completely free.

However, the forum will have a very negative attitude towards transferring merits to their alternative accounts.
I'd say it's the "forum users" rather than the forum, after all @OP is asking about the forum.

I’m more than sure that Chiomaobi is your account. Would you like me to show you how you discovered yourself? Or maybe someone else will also check your posts and find matches?

Newbies are free to send merits to anyone in the forum. Just as there is no rule limiting how many merits newbies can received. I stumbled into a newbie account with 10 posts and 10 activities but with merits above that of full member. Such user is being limited by activities to rank up but the forum does not limit such person from spending the over 80 smerits he would have gotten from those merits. As a matter of fact, some of those merits were actually distributed to several other accounts even legendries.

And how can I send merit to someone if I see a good post.
For every two merits you receive you will be given 1 sendable merit called smerit. As soon as your account have had smerit, then behind every post you see in the forum you will see a tab written +merit and when you click it you will see how many merits you can send and where to input the merits to send.

I can guess why you, OP, are asking about merit transfers. It is not forbidden to transfer merit to newbies or anyone else, as much as you please. However, the forum will have a very negative attitude towards transferring merits to their alternative accounts. In particular, your alternative account under the nickname Chiomaobi recently gave you three merits. I’m more than sure that Chiomaobi is your account. Would you like me to show you how you discovered yourself? Or maybe someone else will also check your posts and find matches?

Everyone is entitled to sending a maximum number of 50 merits to a particular user for a month, there's 5law restricting you from sending merits to anyone you like as long as it's not yourself you're sending merits back to in case of having alt,

No, There is no specific rules for newbies for sending merit. But remember don't abuse it (account farming). Moreover, you can give merit to any post in proper way, like currently your earnmerit is 7, from these seven earnmerit, you have already generated 3.5 merit for sending, out of which you can give 3 to other. Now if you like any post that is beneficial to you, you can gave that post merit what you want like you can give 1 or 3 at once.
Here you can find more detail with the infographics about merit & smerit.
You get merit points when someone sends you some for one of your posts. Additionally, when someone sends you merit points, half of those points can be sent by you to other people.

On the top right hand of the persons comment you would see merit in bold. Click on it and input the number of merit that you want to send to the person and click send.

For you to send someone merit as a newbie, you have to earn some merits and at such 1merits will give you 0.5 sendable (s)merit. There isn't any limitations as to how you send merit but you have to make sure there is not merit abuse or exchange. Especially for those accounts that were created as alts.
Sending merit is very simple mate any rank can give out merit when they have some smerits. You just have to click on the merit button close to any post you which to merit and then input the number of merit you which to send the user or post. So long you know the rules of the forum and don't break any of them, just be yourself.

The only limitation when it comes to sending/receiving merit is that you can only send or receive 50 merit to/from the same person in 30 days and its appicable no matter the rank.

The ultimate rule stopping a newbie from sending merits to a member is you must have an smerits which is half the merits you earned your self  Grin

You can send as much as how many merit you want to a post if you find it helpful, there is no limitation as to how many you can send except that it wouldn’t surpass 50 merits in 30 days. I think you need to still read this thread if you’re still asking about merit sending.
