Bitcoin Diamond has increased the block size. There is sufficient capacity for all transactions. The speed of generating blocks will be increased in 5 times.
This is for real but there are so many altcoins that have a better scalability than bitcoin diamond. Bitshares, Is bitcoin diamond can match the bitshares with its scalability? Bitcoin diamond was nothing rather than a way to the bitcoin holders to get another trader's money. Can you tell me about the developer of the bitcoin gold? Some said that hasn't been publishing.

This one is really confusing.  It says 1:1 fork, but some people are saying that since the Dev increased the total coins to 210 million (from 21 million BTC), they are doing a 10:1 fork ... how the heck does that work?  Can you really claim 10 BTD for every BTC on the blockchain?  Seems like the only way that could be accomplished if you had your coins on a exchange that was supporting the fork.

The max supply of Bitcoin Diamond tokens will be 210million BCD!
So it is true that for each single BTC which you hold you can claim 10 BCD!
That's also written on their website. -> http://btcd.io/
However I still struggle how to claim these tokens. The listed wallets I have never heard of.
Will continue some digging and hope to find something useful.

There is a complete disorder that no one is discussing. I'm shocked at all about such events. So altcoin never grows.

Bitcoin cash and bitcoin gold had at least proper mining pools setup from launch. These jokers are probably mining for themselves and call it Bitcoin. They have forked but have not released anything public yet. No whitepaper, just a fancy website with faq. Worst fork so far!

It's important to understand that these forks are basically just creating altcoins that want to ride off of btc's technology and name.

This is a huge generalization, but I think it is safe to say that everyone would like btc to scale, transaction times and fees are just going to astronomically higher.
The technology is not closed, patented, or owned by anybody, so if someone wants to fork it than they are more than welcome to.
Thinking this way, it is no surprise that there are so many forks that are attempting to make btc better.

The big problem though, is that a lot of these forks are amateurish or unnecessary.
An even bigger problem than that is that they are more than often not backed by any community.
Blockchain tech has absolutely no inherent value to it, its just numbers really.
It only becomes valuable when a community puts a value to it.
So no community = no value.

The annoying after effect this has is it makes btc more volatile, but i the long run, I actually believe it helps to push btc to even further heights.
btc will become stronger because of btc diamon, ruby, sapphire, emerald, crystal, rainbow, or whatever dumb name people come up with.

I personally don't like all these forks of Bitcoin but the free BCH and BTG was definitely worth the trouble for me at least. If BTD get any value I will dump that too. Some people calling btg a scam but it's currently trading at 4.7% of bitcoin price.

REVOLUTIONIZING THE TRAVEL INDUSTRY
Just another shitty friendly fork which will end up being just a scammy dump and pump coin. They are just using bitcoins name to bring them ahead of the market, but that is likely to be happening. There are tons of such shit coins and you can ignore them without any issue. Or just dump them when you claim yours.

Indeed, people will less confuse regarding with the new hard fork because of it's name. But me personally, I don't see any problem on making hard forks out of Bitcoin, the source-code are almost alike except for some settings changes and other advance features the will bring more scalability and security.

Fuck this BTCD. Bitcoin is a legend and always will be. And we'll support the all hail BITCOIN  no matter how many times it's forked or whatever the name of those shitty forked coins..
Remember those are having the different opinion of you about the bitcoin diamond will try to consider it as the source to get another free money. But this is my first time hear about the bitcoin diamond itself. The fact that a lot of people never know about the developer of bitcoin diamond.

Because Bitcoin is very popular and they're making hard forks from it to gain instant fame right after the event. We can call them shit coins but they do helped Bitcoin pump every hard forks were established and that was happened last August and October when Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin Gold is available for circulation.

Super Bitcoin: Make Bitcoin Great Again
http://supersmartbitcoin.com/

I am wondering if 2018 is the year of hard forks?

There is no limitations and regulations for ICOs and new Cryptocurrencies and so as Hard forking Bitcoin.
Like Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin Gold, they gained fame right after the fork. It is indeed more effective than creating a brand new project and name it whatever they like.

Hard forking Bitcoin isn't hard enough and it's unlimited and everyone can do it since there's no limitations in developing Blockchain system. Some developers are choosing to fork Bitcoin so that their project will gain fame instantly and that's what Bitcoin hard forks were become like Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin Gold.
