Please forgive my cynicism.
I was offered bitcoins in I think 2010 when they were 50p each.
I was tempted to buy £200 worth but had been just lost £200 to a ponzi money scheme so decided against it!

I have seem recent reports saying they are now worth £2,500

Are these the same Bitcoins?
So would I be able to actually sell for cash or money in the bank?

Sorry to ask, but I see lots of people saying they are millionaires but don't think I have seen anyone with the actual money banked.

I mean, my 400 bitcoins would now be worth £1,000,000 and I could actually sell them for £1Million less commissions?

You gotta see I'm sceptical.
Please tell me I haven't made the biggest mistake of my life?

Yes these are things are true, The value of bitcoin may rise and fall you'll never know thats why people today are always on the watch in regard with the bitcoin value. And thats the same Bitcoin youre talking about. You probably had the biggest mistake in your life, but its not too late, you can still start investing, now that you already know how Bitcoin works.

So in your book, you can be millionaire only if you have money stashed in your bank account?
What about people who own stocks, bonds, gold, precious metals - it is kinda harder to sell off these commodities as well.
If someone has 200 BTC then, of course, he is a millionaire - there is not really that different if you are Bitcoin millionaire of a gold millionaire, right?

No, of course not. There were millions of chances between that moment and this to have made the same bad choices, just a little further down the line. You would have bailed at 200, 0r 600 or less, based on the fact that you bailed that long ago. You may have put a little money in your pocket, but your profiled actions clearly dictate a lack of commitment and faith, so I would say that you would have bailed at $60. That does not make you a millionaire either, just a little less skippy.

Yeah, he has skipped his chance to become the millionaire dollar. But I do not feel regret for him, he just ignore it while he was had many chances to buy again but he did not buy Bitcoin. He did not trust it and today, that is the result.

That story is not clear but i understand that you ignore to buy bitcoin when the price is low then you are asking if the price of bitcoin is really high right now yes your 400 bitcoin is now a ton of money and yes you do made your biggest mistake of your life and that seller too he made the his bad decision if he actually sold that bitcoin.

Yes, bitcoin is a very real chance to become a millionaire. And there are living examples - people who bought bitcoin 8 and fewer years ago, now their deposit has increased many times. And now it is not too late to buy bitcoin, as it has excellent growth prospects in the long run. Do it right now if you are thinking Smiley

What will you do to become a millionaire? This is the concern: Will you buy a bitcoin, or you will be mining or buying and selling in foreign exchange or you will trade cash, but the right to say that all of the earlier mentioned will make you abundant, but the condition of good examine before starting

Yes having bitcoins makes you rich and holding them at this point of time is very important because in coming years the price would be double of what it is now.

swing!
You are one of the lucky guy to get offered such amount of BTC back then and remained to this days, i guess its a good thing that you didn't get involved times where people are selling it off for $300 each. Be generous and play it well with your new fortune! We are the latecomers that are trying hard to get even just one of your hundreds of Bitcoin in various, much more difficult ways.

Your post isn't exactly clear. So do you actually have 200 bitcoins now or did you reject the offer and not buy any?

If you have 200 bitcoins now, congrats. You are made for life.
Yeah you could only if you really believe in Bitcoin from the beginning and never sell any of them until now which I think it is impossible because most of early adopters are already selling their Bitcoins in the peak of 2013.
Exactly, soon we all be millionaire and not that impossible now especially when you look on its value now. We just need to continue using it and hold even the price is dumping. Because its normal and after that it will pump soon. One of my friend was regretting because he didnt buy it at a low price before but I told him thats its okay because we arestill lucky that we find bitcoin which can make is millionaire someday.

Yes, believing is like trusting into bitcoins.  If you trust that bitcoin will really give you an income then go with it.  I believe that bitcoin can make us millionaire if we will really work hard into it.  Anything not just bitcoins, if we work hard and work smart we will become rich.

You should be glad, chances are you'd have lost them, have them stolen by MtGox or even cashed out at 5$ by now anyway.

Then you'd have a reason to be angry.  The bicoin pizza guy has a reason to be angry.

I had the chance to buy Bitcoins on a Bulletin Board back in 2009 before any kind of exchanges or official price even existed, we're talking about 5000 BTC for 50 dollars, that was the rate back then.

However i didnt consider it for a second, looked pretty scammy to me, had no interest in the tech since Bitcoin had ( and still has ) a pretty unattractive branding imo.

Plus the only way to get them was through PayPal, which was another red flag for me back then, not to mention "Bitcoin" had no company or any form of official website, and since i was used to E-Gold and stuff like that, i never cared to do more research.

yeah lol did you read the pizza story guy? that is everyone dream, to have 10k bitcoin and hold them until now, but i think already everyone dumped at the 2013 ATH, it's very hard and very tempting to sell at those price when you have so many bitcoins, and it's easy now to say that if i would have hold i would have been rich, try to say this when the value is shit lol

i read that also and i was so so so very amaze
and i start investing on bitcoin
