Altcoins are at the bottom, so it makes a no sense to sell. But it is just my opinion. It is possible that altcoins will dip lower but in every bullrun (if it happens) altcoins are performing very well in altseason.
Many predict Altcoin prices will increase dramatically after Halving, So there is no reason for you to sell Altcoin at this time, Because I'm sure you will regret it after seeing the coming Altcoin season.

First of all if you're in profit with your altcoins portfolio simply take profit and move on, if you're in loss then probably you would like to wait for a right time it's all up to you. We can only estimate about the market nobody knows what kind of situations are ahead positive or negative it's all mysterious.

It is really a waiting game and actually we have been waiting for 2 years already and we are still here, soon for sure we will be able to sell this, and for me, it doesn't matter if I have to wait for another year as long as the project that I am investing with are still here continuing to develop the project. So where is this huge pump now happening? All I have been seeing now is minor rallies followed by retracements it has been more or less the same story for months now. I would hardly call this a pump. A minor alt rally for sure, but this was always part of the cycle was it not?

I think that new coins can grow even in a bear market, and the top altcoins only in a bull market. But their growth can be said to be "guaranteed" - they are known to everyone and when new users come to crypto in the bull market, in any case they invest part of the money in top altcoins.
Do we still have new coins that are promising, i am not aware of those, the top alt coins will move up in a bull market but it is hard to imagine that we will be having a rally anytime soon in the alt coin market. I think everyone will have different investment strategies and not everyone can afford to buy Bitcoin during this period. All these thoughts unfortunately are obvious after all the events have happened. I do not think that you are 100% sure of a future dump, but if you are right, we are now losing a good opportunity to take a short position (although I am sure some traders have done this).

It all matter on risk management though where you do know the risk but you have gambled to take such step because you do believe that you can able to make profits ahead.We already seen some signs of possible

This is the time to consider investing more because altcoin season has not yet happened and there may be some other adjustments before all the coins together reach new ATH. Most people have been going through the bear market for a long time and it's time to be patient. Personally, I believe this is a very good place for long-term investment and will continue to invest more if possible. Now the market is growing, so I don't think you should sell alts to hold on to Bitcoin, personally I'm holding on to both Bitcoin and alts.

Indeed, this is not the time to sell our coins whether its btc or alts because halving is few months away.Many predicted the price of btc will increase or might trigger for bull market hence better wait until it happen.
Though there's no assurance for this speculation I think it wont hurt us investors if we're going to wait.

That’s the smart choice because why you need to sell your good altcoins for bitcoin where you can hold both of them.
