All victims of cryptopia know now how they were cheated.
After the hack around 15% of funds were lost.
But most of the remaining cryptos were not able to be traded or withdrawn afterwards.
So Cryptopia made mode damage than the hackers.
False and missing information from the scammers at cryptopia.
All Funds inside are now lost.
But until the last day they allowed deposits, so they rose the damage.

That's a lot of assumptions and inaccurate information, built on top of a lack of knowledge of how their business works/worked (because we can't see inside).

Given that they announced their liquidation today, no one knows precisely what'll happen yet. But yes, a lot of people are going to lose out.

Frankly, Cryptopia was properly regulated and everything so I don't see how anyone can call scam or cheating. It sucks but that's business. That's the risk we take by investing through a broker/exchange.

Cryptopia's attitude has always been VERY different to TS.

My problem with TS is their total lack of customer service and the VERY dodgy way they make decisions.

They ban users from chat for voicing opinions or concerns: I saw someone get banned for 11.5 YEARS for saying that the TS admins weren't very good.

Their KYC isn't fair (and I'm pretty sure it's not legal, either). They steal a LOT of money from people that way - though thankfully I'd moved all my coins out before I got screwed by that - lost about $25 instead of hundreds.

Their delistings are random and numerous. They also have a nasty habit of not fixing anything before they delist, so you can't get your coins out - in my case, a wallet with 5,300,000 coins and a status of "OK" wouldn't let me withdraw. They deleted the coin and refuse to do anything about my issue. Bye bye my coins.

Their support is appalling. I've raised tickets on at least half a dozen exchanges and TS is the only one where I've been consistently treated like an annoying piece of shit. Everywhere else listens and tries to fix the problem. TS doesn't: the admins simply say "Fuck you, deal with it" and move on. Zero effort, zero comprehension, zero help (except with very simple things).

Their anti-hack efforts are pathetic and self-centred. When NYC suffered a 51% attack, TS created a new token - NYRT - and said they'd work with the NYC people and do their best to reiumburse as much NYC as possible at the price before the hack. They opened a DOGE market and set their price at 1 dogesat, which is - of course - pathetic compared to the price the coins were before the attack. They refused to work with the NYC people, they did nothing about the issue for six months then, this week, they delisted NYRT. In short, they deleted their debt without recourse. Another few million coins.

Short version: I'd trust Cryptopia a thousand times more than TS, regardless of who owns/owned them. Get out of TS. Now.

Tradesatoshi.com belongs to Adam Clark.
Well he is also one of the owners of the now bancrupt exchange cryptopia.

Get out of TS now.

I've been there for years, with over 1,000 trades and never had any real issues apart from shit support and a demented set of trollbox rules. Loved the place: it was shitcoin heaven, with loads of cheap coins to play with.

Then they decided... something. I don't know what they're trying to do over there but the whole place has gone to hell. 75+ coins delisted in about a month, many without good reason (from discussions on a variety of channels) and some without the possibility of withdrawal (on working wallets - lost over 5 million coins on one because TS was messed up, nothing wrong with the wallet).

Then they suddenly inflict KYC randomly on people, with no possibility of adjusting your profile (and seriously, how many people have their real info in there when all it needs is a name and nothing else?) and requiring that the details on your ID match perfectly.

Their recent changes and fundamentally flawed KYC process just resulted in them keeping all my money, despite my ability to provide ID to prove who I am and everything else. Support has always been awful but they've recently taken a turn for the psychotic, refusing to help, refusing to fix stuff, refusing everything.

I always assumed people who had trouble there were just stupid or deliberately trying to scam or something. Not so. I'm totally legit (and KYC-passed on a multitude of other exchanges), have been there for years and just got fucked up the poop-chute by this thieving bunch of scum.

Get out now, while you still can.

Is it safe? I hope this will answer your question.

Briefly some facts about Traidsatoshi (read more here:)

1. Raised BTC withdrawal fee to insane 400K sat.

2. Started KYC checks (Did they want to force users leave more BTC on their balances to the time when KYC started? The more BTC on the frozen balance - the greater the incentive for users to accept the KYC or more funds will be freezed, if the KYC-check will be failed)

3. Some users refused to send KYC-info to the unknown exchange with a doubtful origin.

4. Some failed to complete it, because they had different data in their profile and their IDs. (they also couldn't change their data in profile - fields are read-only).

5. So these funds will stay frozen, and some day these accounts will be closed and funds will go to the exchange. Bingo!

6. Traidsatoshi staff interacted with affected and dissenting users by banning them in discord and twitter, and posting stupid pictures in their own topic.

7. After many users complaints Traidsatoshi lowered the BTC fees to attract users, cause their trading volume is incredibly low - only 11 BTC!!! It is the 190th place from overall 2 hundreds at coinmarketcap.

8. A new cycle of depriving of funds has started. Is that what you want?

They are trying to hide the truth under stupid flame in their own topic, but this won't help. Tradesatoshi is an unreliable exchange for trading and listing your coins. Beware of it.

I want to put a bit of BTC into 4chancoin. Some new shitcoin I saw on /biz/. Problem is it's only traded on TradeSatoshi right now. Never heard of this exchange before and doesn't look very professional from what I've seen. If I put a couple hundred dollars of BTC into it am I essentially just donating it to some overseas scam artist? If you've used TradeSatoshi in the past, lmk. Thanks.
There are many thread about TradeSatoshi in this forum you can check as reference,

1. Tradesatoshi.com SCAM
2. TradeSatoshi.Com - Scam / Fraud | Be Aware! [SOLVED]
3. Tradesatoshi is a scam ?
4. Is TradeSatoshi Safe? Anyone Used It?
5. TradeSatoshi locking out users to steal funds?
6. Tradesatoshi - BEWARE! Blocking without reasons.
7. TradeSatoshi.Com BTCP - Scam / Fraud | Bitcoin Private fork coins stolen

I hope it will help your vagueness.

Really? It's strange because I can log in to my account and I still see some of my coins in my balance, and I don't fill KYC either. I am on Level 1 and my limit withdraw is $2000 with margin trading enabled, and I hope that my account will be fine. But if that is the case, I think I will use instant sell button to sell all of my coins and move it to another exchange.
That's nice but don't be so assured that your account won't be lock, for all we know it might be. It's better to pull out your coins there and move to other sites. You're fortunate that you can still be able to access it.

Perfect advice
. We can't trust this exchange, they are freezing users funds without evidence of a personal fault. Even if you are ready to send yours personal data to this not credible exchange with an unknown origin, imagine you had open orders, and then at one moment you log in and see that all actions at exchange are blocked: you cann't manage your orders, while we all know that crypto market is very volatile. And then you start to feel yourself like these users at Tradesatoshi discord (also notice how the staff lies about the warning):

I am curious what is the reason to use TradeSatoshi? That exchange has a low transaction and it not too popular than the other exchanges. Or do you have a coin which is only TradeSatoshi listed on there? If yes, I think you can sell your coins and then withdraw the profit to another exchange which is more reliable and recommended by many people here.
They are not allowing trades or withdrawals, they froze many users accounts without notice and demand KYC level 2. Orders previously opened are out of users control, cannot be canceled, withdrawals are blocked, users essentially cannot do anything until they hand over their ID.

Even if they do hand over their ID, it will take many days to finish verification. Losses will surely happen, and TradeSatoshi is a fucking awful exchange for doing this. Some have been waiting more than a week for their KYC to complete and during that time their balance is completely out of their control!

now they started to block users @ discord, for telling to avoid deposits

THIS IS SCAM EXCHANGE ,they hold my coins that were worth 9000$ 4 days ago.

PLEASE AVOID DEPOSITS IF YOU DONT WANT TO LOOSE YOUR MONEY.

OK,after me,and group of peoples, started collecting information about exchange, owner, also we wrote few reports to google phishing, scam service, reported to their host provider ,money(coins) were returned . but i wont remove my posts, and will not use this exchange ever again,i lost a lot of money and time because of their actions. I will remove my fraud report when they fix all their problems AND! unban all users that were banned just because they wanted their money back,at discord channel and exchange chat.

Hi, could you tell me how to report this exchange to try to recover my money please?

we did several reports here https://safebrowsing.google.com/safebrowsing/report_phish/?hl=en ,1st step ,they will contact them before closing or baning their web

next step
write here [email protected] ,its place where their domain listed, they also will contact them, that people reporting them. http://stathunter.com/domainWhois/Whois/tradesatoshi.com

i also have some information about tradersatoshi owner. if he scamed a lot of people for a lot of money i will leave this info in open source so people can report to cyber crime.

but before that, write 1 ticket to support and ask them to push your transaction MANUAL. not 10 tickets, but one, because if you write many tickets,it will be like your ticket position in line is #1 ,mine #2,someones #3,you write to support another ticket, and you will be not #1 in line but #3,4 and etc. as many tickets you write last position you get. better go spam their trade channel and discord, and ask many why? wher eis my depo, where is my money, exchange loosing reputation,we will report you,and do this not alone, better in group.

Seems like a course of action needed once again. Who's with me?

Even if it is real site, you are not going to complete your trade in any real time because most of the coin's trading volume on that exchange is still at single didgit so find a better exchange or just hold it.

TradeSatoshi has frozen my account with a large amount of money, and their KYC aka Keep Your Crypto takes FOREVER. There is NO guarantee of getting your funds back. NEVER use this exchange if you like money. I am fuming, and this is totally unacceptable. They must have losses to make back, so they're seizing users funds. This exchange is sketchy and their mods and operators are completely in on it. They are no help if you ask, and they will tell you the "verification team" is working on it, and they will contact you, if you ask any questions at all. But, there is no verification team to contact. There is no information about their "verification team" whatsoever and they will answer NO questions about them. There is no way to contact them and the verification status emails are no-reply. If you have any questions about verification, tough shit. You won't get any. Stay the hell away from this mess.

I want to put a bit of BTC into 4chancoin. Some new shitcoin I saw on /biz/.
Forget about TradeSatoshi and your prefer shitcoin as well. If you can save your money and time now then do it, don't deal with it and it's like hitting two birds with one stone.

It is safe, a simple site for small taps, there are coins on the site that do not even exist in the coinmarket.
It's because it's haven for shitcoins.

I was looking for the reviews after I got stucked with them. Recently sent USDT into my wallet, it has never arrived. Admins are not helpful at all. It is said that the USDT is under maintenance. I mean, how many times do you need to carry out maintenance within a very short span of time. Looks like this maintenance thing has been going on/off as they pleased.

I do not know what to say at this stage.

This is the worst exchange among  the lot. Just avoid as far as you can.

Tradesatoshi reminds me of the OTC pink sheets with many unrecognizable coins and sketchy volume -
I opened an account there about a month ago for the sole purpose of transferring some free coins.
A real craps roll.
They do offer a faucet with surprising variety - for additional shiggles.

I wouldn't put more than beer money in there, IMO.

tradesatoshi volume transaction is low and not popular
position under novaexchange, tidex , if you have coin not popular and only accepted tradesatoshi you can trade in there
but is popular coin or big coin, is good if you trade in major exchanger or good exchanger
