Did anybody ever find the owner of Trade Satoshi, Francesco Alibrandi?

https://abn-lookup.com.au/abn/49137331673-alibrandi-francesco
https://www.facebook.com/FrancescoAlibrandiTradesatoshi

Surely he can't just continue on a professional career in crypto after running what was a pretty major exit scam at the time.

I'm thinking this account was him all along:

Hey where did u sign up for the tradesatoshi signature campaing?
i cannot find anything on bitcointalk, i would like to join, i know my account is new but i will try to be more active

fratoshi... could be Francesco (aka Fran, Frances or Frank) Satoshi or even Francesco Alibrandi Satoshi.

This idiot might still be hounding me today, and that would explain why. Not only did I help identify his exchange as a scam but then I got his Bitcointalk account banned as a cherry on the top.

His first post was an ANN for a coin called FRATOSHI... He later renamed it TRADOSHI... which sounds an awful lot like Trade Satoshi if you ask me. Not many similarities in between the two websites, except for they both employ Domains By Proxy. The domains were registered 59 days apart, not sure that necessarily means anything.

https://whois.domaintools.com/tradoshi.com
https://whois.domaintools.com/tradesatoshi.com

This account tweets a lot about ColossusXT and Bitcoin Private, which were listed on TradeSatoshi for years:

https://twitter.com/fratoshi

There used to be more information about the Tradoshi coin but all the old links are dead.

I wonder if there is a thread where people can see updated list of scammers like Tradesatoshi? it would be easier to check that list and avoid tx with all these scammers.

Does anybody have full wallet details operated by Tradesatoshi scammers? Can we try to work out what they actually stole by the time they closed their trash website?

And just like that, they are gone.

I'm starting to think that not only do they not have the BTC to repay their customers, they haven't had it in a long time. It would explain all the stupid games they've been playing for almost an entire year leading up to their closure.

The last time they moved coins out of their OMNI hot wallet was November 1st of last year:

https://www.walletexplorer.com/wallet/000706574639c86a?from_address=18rKsxwrdHxrfPjzAqNuxYr37wNNrxgrqy

(the 18rK... address corresponding to the OMNI hot wallet is only one address out of many that TS used to transfer BTC, however... would need more blockchain evidence to associate other wallets)

These tradesatoshi scammers stole almost 0.7 bitcoin from me, blocked the withdrawal of funds for no reason. Angry

Many altcoins are telling their members to stop doing tx with this tradesatoshi exchange, DeepOnion recently removed ONION from this exchange https://deeponion.org/community/threads/trade-satoshi-closing-down.43455/#post-668309

Well those small time traders with their amounts of trash coins as must have added up to be a tidy sum for the Tradesatoshi scammers. Imagine it, putting BTC in maintenance while closing your website. Maybe they will allow BTC withdrawals 1 minutes their official closing down just so they can say they did nothing wrong - pathetic.

I really hope you are right, I hope we did a service to the community by highlighting their scam and the end result was to have customers find a different exchange. I hope somewhere along the line users from this forum can take credit bringing the Tradesatoshi scam to an end but it will be bitter-sweet because they will selective scam almost every user before shutting shop.

I know they were pretty small-time, with somewhere between 10 and 50 BTC worth of volume a day, depending on which numbers you believe. But they had a shitload of small customers, and as you can see by the reactions to the tweet I posted, 0.5 BTC is a lot of money for most of them. I would be pissed if I lost even just $100 there, but lucky for me they locked me out of my account with zero funds in it, quite a few months ago, LOL.

I'd like to think we discouraged at least a few people from sending their coins there, and we certainly were responsible for getting them to leave the forum, so we did all that we could.

TradeSatoshi exit scams.

Tells users on their twitter they are closing down and should withdraw all funds ASAP, but disables withdrawals for most (if not all) coins. Then, about 24 hours, their exchange goes down for "maintenance," leaving hundreds of customers pissed off.

Here's one of dozens of horror stories from twitter, a guy had over half a BTC on the exchange that he can't withdraw, as most withdrawal screens give this message:

Any customers able to withdraw their coins? If so, which ones?

Have surprisingly been able to w/d a small amount of DOGE.
Went almost instantly, though that was right when the news broke that they are going to close shop.
Havent' checked but I guess meanwhile you can't either buy DOGE for regular price or the DOGE wallet is in maintenance too.

BTC wallet still "under maintenance" with no estimate as to when people can withdraw their coins. Definitely an exit scam.

all of that is down to shitty business practices at worst.

shitty business practices =/= scamming.

This comment aged poorly. But I still love it when shitcoin devs make excuses for scam exchanges because they list their shitcoins.

I read through those tweets just now. I wonder what the full amount of their exit-scam will be. Maybe it will run in to millions of USD$.

We tried for a long time to warn people about these Tradesatoshi scammers but sadly not everybody managed to withdraw their funds because of selective scamming and now of-course because of their exit-scam.

My turn now...

I hadn't logged in for a couple of months. Today I try to log in, and find my account is locked.

I had no significant amount of funds in there so I don't think I'll bother with the KYC B.S.

TradeSatoshi locking out users to steal funds
https://www.altcoinbuzz.io/crypto-news/finance-and-funding/tradesatoshi-accused-of-malpractices-regarding-their-exchange-handling/

The more negative publicity these Tradesatoshi scammers receive the better it is because they are selective scamming more and more of their users.

I really hope the law enforcement agencies starting taking a look at Tradesatoshi, coinsbit, p2pb2b and all the shady exchanges selective scamming users then make an example of them by shutting them down and by starting criminal proceedings against their owners.

and i am not denying what i said, is there in the history, any one can see, not like this post from you that mysteriously got removed https://archive.md/C0XaV#selection-2387.0-2439.35

There's no "mystery" behind why it got removed. Suchmoon already explained it to you.

It's you spamming the forum and the trust system with useless garbage. And using threads posted by a known troll as references, so they disappear when the troll gets nuked. Create your own threads and archive them.

The person who wrote the thread you referenced was evading a ban for spamming. They got caught and their posts were deleted. Basically, you were relying on the words of a banned spammer to make your point. Congratulations.

I was relaying on your words

a bunch of bullshit

Here are the actual facts about your account:

- you woke up (along with 2 other accounts, of which you are probably both) specifically to defend Trade Satoshi against scam accusations
- you called the person complaining about being locked out of their Trade Satoshi account a scammer
- you posted mainly in the Trade Satoshi thread to question and ridicule people complaining about being scammed
- you tried to bribe me to have your negative feedback removed
- you were defending allegations made by a known troll whose previous accounts were banned
- you then proceeded to open a flag on my account that was backed by a thread created by said troll
- now you are claiming Trade Satoshi is a scam in an attempt to distance yourself from it, but really you should just open a new account and start over, even though I know getting that first merit wasn't easy for you.

Hehe thats a good one

Hey where did u sign up for the tradesatoshi signature campaing?
i cannot find anything on bitcointalk, i would like to join, i know my account is new but i will try to be more active

@Dihunter seems to be a scammer, i did a little research, his uses his account to diffame tradesatoshi, is still not clear why, or why he did not provide more evidence other the owner is a Chinese citizen living in Venezuela who was born in UK and registered a company in Hong Kong.

This new scam is getting more common in crypto, is called "Reputation Scam"
where a site is targeted by scammeres and they create posts on forums, facebook, twitter, etc, and then they contact the site and ask for money in exchange to remove all those posts from the internet, this scam is very old in amazon accounts where competitors left bad reviews on their competitor products.

Try with a bigger font and maybe the support guys on Tradesatoshi can read you better

I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM WHEN I TRY TO LOGIN TO MY ACCOUNT SINCE 5 DAYS WHY!!! Angry Angry
I HAVN T TFA I CHANGED MY PASSWORD I DID DO ALL THIS AND IN THE END I CAN T LOGIN
PLEASE HELP ME
THANKS.

Just contact the support via their website and hope that you hear back from them. Posting here won't be of any help, your question will just be buried without getting an answer.

How much money do you want to stop the scam?
I want my reputation back

But i can change my opinion about that and i will start to boycott tradesatoshi if i can get my trust back, the scammer is not responding,
Please scammer accept my doge, lets negotiate your price, i only have doge, is the only i can afford, please scammer
